When I had my '13 Sentra SR I had a Megan front tower brace that I custom fitted Cusco strut tower quick releases which worked great

I got the Perrin strut brace and pitch stop mount. I've been doing an all-red under the hood theme. At least for the aftermarket parts. Front and rear sway bars make a much bigger difference than a strut brace.

Why not just start with metal polish? With the wd40 and scuff pad, it's like a wet sand and you are just scuffing up the bar. If it was dirty, just clean it, then hit it with metal polish. Besides, it lives under the hood and no one sees it. Bar still looks nice and should do well with other bracing/braces...
