How often does the 1 box have to be changed out? I have a 2016 Cascadia evolution with 700K on it. I purchased her with 229K. Been a great truck.

I got same truck 2016, my truck was 120 thousand miles when I get it, rigth now
truck got about 950 thousand miles, and i clean the dpf twice , one about 250 t miles and another with 650 .
I was closed to 950 and the box shows to many codes , ask for to many Regens, I finally I decide to open e find out the one box gonne, those DOC gonne, and with no option, I get a new box e new filters , all together was 14000 dollars + instalation 1000 dollars more.
This box the are made to go about 1 million miles, give or take. Depends on how you babysitter the truck and do proper maintenance, but for sure , between 750 and 1 milhion miles it's time to buy a new one .
Save the money for the box.

You don't have to replace the one box you can clean doc

You are correct. If the doc is not damaged, it can be cleaned. If damage to the doc occurs, the system will not work correctly. Thank you for your input. 👍🏼

I use use a laptop program & perform a DOC face plate cleaning. Can take up to 4-5 hours.

If I’m idling should i have the rpm’s raised or normal idle? I have the DD 16 560 hp

It is not recommended to idle. Idling will build excessive soot and cause ATS issues

All of that restriction and maintenance.... No wonder some semi trucks take ages to get up to speed+ their governed speeds by the corp.
Meanwhile owner operators blast through traffic at 80mph and have substantially less problems.
"But the atmosphere!!" cried the ignorant worm that's unaware that 90% of the stuff they buy is via "exported pollution (china)" which produces a far greater amount of pollution on the earth.

Great videos & very helpful information. Will be watching more of your videos. But....would you please stop cutting the video between every sentence? The slight jerking from cutting the video between every sentence is distracting to me & makes me focus on the video cuts instead of what you are saying. Other than that, your videos are great.
