Mountain View Cemetery Tour part II by Dennis Evanosky

Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the landscape architect who also designed New York City's Central Park.
Many of California's important historical figures are buried here, particularly in ornate crypts in one section is known as "Millionaires' Row." This tour considers the following people: Charles Crocker, Francis Marion Smith ("Borax Smith"), Christian Otto Gerberding ("C.O.G.") Miller, Charles Franklin Doe, Domenico "Domingo" Ghirardelli, Sr., Julia Morgan, & John Coffee "Jack" Hays.
