Exotics are nice, but there is something super cool about a Local Timbers guitar. Lovely matte finish. Gravity pulling on the lower bout....i instantly knew what you were talking about! It was a perfect description. thanks for the vid Tom. gregor
That is a really nice guitar. You did a great job on it. And the sound is so full, rich with clarity. So I am very impressed, Well done Tom - full marks :)
Love the contrasting colours of the different woods and the tone is fabulous but my favourite feature is the neck… “Bonfire Cherry” - a piece of wood with a story to rival “The Tree” (almost). That’s a very pale Islay to match the soundboard. ❤
So nice to see a new guitar (such an elegant, refined shape. Are you considering similarly themed, subtle alterations to your M and L models, or are they already fully formed, design-wise?) and whisky combo. Not far off 5pm now, actually…
Surprised you didn't french polish the top, a bit more finiky but posh. So lovely in quaility, and selection of woods. The body shape is alluring. This combination of woods, would be my choice...? dark side ? Walnut is amazing tonally.
Love 12 fret guitars! I have several but all are small body and none are from your stable. Nevertheless they are all very special. I’m gonna have a single malt now too and toast 12 fret guitars everywhere.
Maybe our cherry tree will be destined to continue its life as part of a guitar. If I make the guitar it won't be sounding like that though. I've not made an acoustic but look forward to the journey maybe the end of this year. Thanks for your videos :)
I’d love to share some knowledge. I recently received an order of Tucerencis. Huge log purchase so I’m cutting for d size. I have 80,000 bf of material that I need to produce backs and sides. 100K BF is a huge project! Please, speak with me so we can be brothers.
Lovely guitar! I really like the idea of the matte finish and tactile surface. And the bonfire cherry is beautiful. It will be fun to see what it adds to the tonal profile. Thanks, John Gig Harbor, WA
Well, I am sure it is very awesome. But what’s the point for those of us who are average mortals who cannot afford anything like this? I am going to guess this guitar is at least $4000.
Actually I just checked the website and there are no prices for any of the guitars. I think that means they’re probably in the range that is over $5000 and up to $20000. Kind of cruel not to tell us the price.
@@StopFear if you can’t afford it, that’s fine, this guitar isn’t for you but maybe it my work can be in the future. There are plenty of amazing guitars for you to choose from at your price point. I can recommend some if you’d like. The base price is on the website. 🙏

Thanks Gregor!
I love simple bindings green with maple, red with Indian Rosewood, looks so put together.
Agreed
Well, Regia turned out quite nicely, my friend!! Absolutely gorgeous work. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks Marc!

I was so happy to finally put the wood to use!
I’ve missed Introducing! ❤
Me too!!

Cheers Terry, yes everything is undergoing a facelift
Beautiful guitar. I love the understated look of it. Perhaps some day… I like the stone-base guitar stand, as well. Your design?
Thank you, the stand isn’t my design, I adapted it from Max Spohn but we made it.
Superb video and what an amazing combination of woods coming together in such a beautiful guitar. I'd give it seven likes but UA-cam only allows one.
Thanks Dave!

French polish is too soft in my experience and I’m able to get a comparable film thickness with polyurethane.
Simply Beautiful !
Thank you
CFM recently released a new model. The SC. Cutaway thin rosewood or mahogany is a real performer. Please take a trip on new Martin models.

It's a beauty Tom!
Thanks dude!

Your thoughts on a yew top?
We have one in the pipeline, will be an interesting experiment

I’m sorry Tom, that is beautiful but I can barely focus on what you’re saying with that mahogany behind you…is that all from The Tree???
Maybeeee…..
