Definitely cool stuff, I wish I could keep my corvette and learn how to work on crossfire and generally an older vehicle. I just can't justify it at this point..
@@Joesmusclecargarage it's an '84. They really are quite reliable, the poor car likely hasn't been tuned up in a decade or more and it still runs pretty well. It definitely could use some work, I just don't really have the time to do it.
Joe my ecm is not activating my fuel pump, fuel pump works by bypassing the ecm, would it be safe to keep it bypassed long term, well do you think the transmission control will work properly without the input /output from the fuel pump
Have you checked for power in and out of the fuel pump relay? I wouldn’t recommend bypassing the ECM to run the fuel pump. What year is your LU5; 82 or 83?
@@Joesmusclecargarage it's an 83, got power on the orange wire going to the switch on relay, other side of switch on relay good ground, good ground on black n white wire from relay coil, no power on green n white wire going to coil on relay, if connect 12volts to twin red wires coming from relay switch pump turns on, if disconnect green/white wire which going to ecm pin 18 then connect 12volts where the green/white wire was pump turns on, I pretty much think ecm knackered on pins 17 and 18 as getting no 2 second pulse or fuel pump running except when bypassed, I am waiting for battery to recharge so I can check on dizzy reference pulse, but all new in dizzy, plus car starts and runs if ecm bypassed ,is there something that I have missed?, forgot to check?

Let me pull up my 83 wiring diagram tonight. I want to make 100% sure I steer you in the right direction.
Are you running stock injectors?
Yes. Stock LU5 injectors and TBs.
