I have a 89 firebird with a TPI i used to throw them away but i always loved the look of the manifold, now in my older age i have come to appreciate the driveability compared to a carburetor and have found there are ways to make power with it. Ive seen the crossfire cars but never owned one, ive heard they are problematic but it looks like a double TBI setup almost, nice car and i think the TBI would be the easiest solution for your problem right now i just subbed to see what the outcome is, good luck
My TB’s have similar issues with the throttle shafts and I was going to have a shop do the work. I’m wondering what the shop did to your TB’s to make them unserviceable? I’ve seen the diy kits online, unsure of the level of difficulty, any advice? Kit recommendation? I also have something going on with the master/slave linkage, when the master is at wot the slave isn’t. Any idea what could cause that? BTW they have been balanced. Look forward to seeing the results of this project, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

What would be the correct throttle cable and throttle valve cable for a 82 with the THM200C transmission? Do you have a link or part number? I’ve been watching your videos because I am planning to do this on my 82 crossfire like yours

They are off of an ‘84 vette. They are still on the intake manifold.
I’m done with the CFI game. Sold the car and picked up another Foxbody. Thanks for the offer though.

Use a throttle and TV cable from an E4ME or L03 car.

@robinlovescars Doesnt have to be 82. The manifold came out of an old junk pile I had laying on the side of the house.

Are you no longer running the renegade?
No. The Renegade is long gone. Sold it about a year ago. The single TBI pulls harder than the Renegade ever could.
