Yea don't need to remove the coolant. Just push the hose down.
Yes, for the experienced handy guys. But those starting to learn it. If you want to avoid damaging your radiator during fan removal and also side leaks from the radiator hose, it's always best to remove the radiator hose and normally it will not leak a lot of coolant. Just a little bit because the hose you are removing is the top one.
@@all-about-cars-basicsthat looked like a lot of coolant, no? I want to try this on my 550, but unsure if I’d make an absolute mess of my underground parking
@@GaryintheStreets Just make sure you have something below the car to catch the coolant. And try doing it when the car has cooled off. It will reduce the amount of coolant you will lose.
@@all-about-cars-basics do you think putting a wet vac hose over the hole at the recovery tank would put enough pressure on the system to allow a container to be angled under the hose so as to reduce the spay all over the lower components? I see it works with the oil system, maybe coolant too?
@@GaryintheStreets I never tried that. But you can give it a try. Maybe it will work.
Naw I'm just gon pay someone 😂😂
