I waited so long for the Retaliator, I am so happy with it. Especially where they didn't alter the design too much - I like the submarine vibe that is has. I'm very much a buy the modules in the game kind of guy and agree that getting the base ship is the way to go. I am pleasently surprised at the price point after gold standard. I guessed $200, the same as the Taurus, and it feels good to be wrong. 😅

I really hope they do the medical module they mentioned as a possibility in the old Retaliator modularity faq. The other one they mentioned was a titan armor recharge station. It's a really good post, from around 2015.
It has the stealth too but I agree the $55 extra price is a bit much. The Tally with modularity is definitely exciting to see in game. Hope the Galaxy is full steam ahead!
And it has the repair + 5 tank novas and if I counted this correctly it should have 4 maned turrets front 2 maned top two remote turrets top and two or one large turret bottom
I played EvE online for over 10 years the Ironclad is closer to the Orca than the galaxy but I'm mostly a minor salvage and mission runner but some of these missions are ruff
im thinking for what you get with the firebird its over priced, BUT Drake might have got a good version in the Ironclad, cargo and the gun boat cargo with the images showed up to holding 4 nova tanks. + it has a vehicle repair bay
Obviously they are overpriced. Thats why the only ship I own is the connie taurus. It is the only somewhat reasonable ship on the market price-wise. It has a big interior, good cargo bay which holds 2 ursa rovers (for whatever reason), good weapons and shields, and great for multicrew.
I wish they had given it a different name and an updated cockpit design in and out, but other than that it is my kind of ship. Is the price justified? Eh.... I think there is a case to be made for all ships to be overpriced. But then again it can also be free if you got that much in the pledge store already and don't mind melting something.
If you focus on the fact that the average small ship, which takes no more then a couple of weeks to build by a 3-4 men team, cost twice as much as the average triple A title, which needs whole studios to work years on them, you get a sense of the BS going on. Think of the 8 years in development for CP2077 for a 50$ price! We still get a free on line game and ships pay for servers and people developing it, but we are also paying for SQ42 development which will earn millions and we are not shareholders.
I get you want to have 3,000 ships to be rare.. However they should just have tiers for the rest of pricing. 0-50 50-100 100-200 300. Thats it. This shit is entirely out of control lol and thinking the Sabre is worth 180 is bonkers.

this module ability is coming along well im thinking, can't wait for the caterpillar and carrack to see what they come up with.

i think it would be fair for the ships to get a 15% or 25% price decrease. i thought the fire bird was going to be way cheaper
