I'm not complaining. It makes Odysseus that much shorter but still
I don't really know if it's a fandom thing? I made Aphrodite shorter personally because it just conveys the juxtaposition of Athena having to plead with the person who she could probably over power, and also I view Aphrodite as the embodiment of like the lust of the male gaze and it seems more common for shorter women to be viewed that way?? If that makes any sense? Also I just love Odysseus being shorter than everyone its so amazing
@whinzeyy every god games animatic I've seen has had Aphrodite shorter than Athena (including my own lol), and I think a big reason for that is that power dynamic between the two
Athena is one of the goddesses Aphrodite has no power over (the other ones being Artemis and Hestia), and therefore doesn't typically have the greatest interactions with Aphrodite. This is a moment of two goddesses who don't really get along arguing, and Athena has to plead with a goddess she could (and would) easily overpower
It's just something I noticed in most animatics of this snippet lol, I just find it funny
