- We took this Coleman Darkroom technology tent out for a one night camping excursion to see what we thought about it. This was the first time we had opened the tent, and we are here to show you how fast it can go up and come back down.

Thanks for this. Looks like an excellent emergency tent. What's the little tent you have there and how is that one? Always looking for a decent waterproof one person tent. I imagine that one is cooler than the non dark room one.

Did you test the waterproofness of the tent? I saw a review of the green and gray version and it didn't do to well.
It held up during a hard storm with no rain inside. Doesn’t hurt to scotchgard if worried

I used to have the old version have to replace it now would you say it gets hot because it’s black mine was grey/green
I would say that is probably a good guess.
I think the gray and green one gets hot in summer weather when the rainfly is on. Its odd that even with rainfly off the mesh windows prevent so much of the breeze from entering cause you unzip that door and the fresh air pours in.

Dumbest tent ever fits only in a vehicle no way to ride or hike with this thing

Dude pop up tents have been around for a long time. It's literally not a hiking tent nor did anyone say it was. Its marketed for very quick set up and nothing else. My husband and I camped all through the southern US with a pop up. Setting up in a new state every night. They're amazing for car camping.
I use it in the backyard to enjoy the stars and not get eaten up by skeeters. Don't have to spend alot of time setting or breaking down. It also has become part of my hurricane evacuation kit and lives in my van when not set up in the yard.
