Why does this video not have 5 million views? This mans sincerity alone, not to mention his talent are amazing. I’m a fan sir.

Lovely pieces. I recently picked up a new guitar, ostensibly as a present for my daughter, which I am going to burn, but also decided to hang onto it for a while to teach myself to play...lol

I just had a question on the finishing:
Normally when finishing guitars, you would sand the face down before adding a finish. Do you sand after woodburning or do you find that sanding before woodburning works better?
Thanks! Your work is really inspiring :)

hi! if i have a satin finish ukulele and wanted to do a design just on one part, would i need to take the finish off, or could i just woodburn directly onto it? thank you so much!!

Im looking to do this myself for a little side bussiness, buying and reselling old acoustic guitars. If you dont mind I have a question, how do you know whether you need to sand the guitar or use chemicals to take the finish off, or are they interchangeable methods?
Thank you for your video, it helpt a lot, and if it's not any trouble, I would love to hear if you have any advice or tips for someone starting this kind of thing.
Again, thank you, I am grateful.

If there is any finish on the surface it must be removed first. 🙂

Hi! I remove any pre-exiting finish, often by sanding carefully, occasionally with chemicals.
