sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot my password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Alexander Konnor i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Have been a guitar player my entire life but couldn't draw a stickman to save my life. Have seen many many custom painted guitars in my life, this is one of the absolute most creative I have ever seen. Simply Beautiful. Thank you for sharing
great work as usual. I have found that in my artwork if i sand the clear in between coats, the finish turns out amazing , specially after you get a good buff in the end. Just a tip. really love the work Fieldey
I am still pondering what kind of and what way of paintjob I will do on the Olympic White Squier Strat I bought for a bargain. You gave me some very inspirational ideas with this video. Thank You!
Love this just wow.and thank christ you live in Australia. So many artist on you tube. I to live in Australia and i find it refreshing to watch a very talented artist such as yourself . Keep up the amazing artwork.
Great video. I recently stained a bass using Transparent Red Oxide and a tiny bit of Green for Oil to thin it. Now I've seen this video I've been inspired to try something more creative with acrylics for my next build.
Amazing work.. I don't know how I stumbled upon this but I am glad I did.. Please do more cool guitar designs like these with maybe adding a pic guard to create a new dimension to explore... :) Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much. I recently bought a Black Charvel Pro Mod So Cal Tele Style guitar and Im researching painting a STAR TREK theme on it and this has been very informative let alone, inspirational. Beautiful design and the P90 pickups are faves of mine too!!!!
That's pretty badass. I've got an old BC Rich Mockingbird I'm looking to paint, I'm really wanting to put a mockingbird with an arrow or something of the sort. But I'll have to test my acrylics with the Wipe on poly I have (I bought it off a guitar supply store)
This is sublime ! Incredible job paint, you truly killed it ! And thanks for the lot of information that you gave on the video, it'll be very helpful :)
Hi Fieldey.. I like your art work.. I was especially interested in the guitar art. I have had this idea to do an acrylic pour on a guitar... I d9nt really know anything about that kind of thing, so I have been watching UA-cam videos to try and get some direction... from best type of paint to use to best clear coat that preferably dries really hard. I would appreciate any tips you are able to afford me. Thank you in advance, and keep making great videos 😊
It looks absolutely fantastic. Envy your artist talent and drawing skills. Thanks for explaining in detail how you do the different steps, especially the coating. Great tutorial 🤘😊
You're right about clear coat curing - I just had one burn through during buffing because the underlying coats weren't properly cured. And when the art is custom, that is a serious setback. Tonight I have to strip the entire body, re-sand, Gesso again, sand again and then paint the entire piece again. But the good news is that I get to fix issues with the rendering of the art that I didn't like, so it has some plusses. But yes, I'm going back to a day of curing for each clear coat. Fantastic video!
GAHHH! You poor thing! I hope the process went ok! It's from bitter experience that I'm now very cautious about clear coating and wet and dry sanding :(
Came for the priming process for a guitar and I'm glad it is explained clearly. Now.. your art is awesome.. makes me wonder if I should get some art done on the guitar or stay boring with a flat ivory white. Thanks!
I am SO in Love with your art work Fieldey... It's very inspiring... I'm gonna try something like this...You got another Fan/ subscriber and Insta follower❤️
looks sick, but is there any way to sand out brush strokes when doing this? I want to do something similar, but I want that glossy flat finish and I'm terrible at air brushing
Looks amazing! Hoping to customise my acoustic, I assume it's the same process? Thanks for going into so much detail it really helps, I feel more confident to go ahead with my project now :)
Oh that would be the perfect thing - I would've preferred a 2k clear for that super shiny wet look and durability, but it was beyond the scope of the project.
@@FieldeyTV They also make an automotive grade spray can clear that is a 2part with hardner (once you mix it you have to use it all) that has great gloss and protection. I LOVE your style btw, always a fan of your artwork!😉👍
Looks great!! But if you would water sand with 3000 grit it would take the texture from the brush strokes away and make tge surface smooth. Just some friendly advice, I promise I am only trying to help, you do an amazing job!!
I’m wanting to paint my acoustic guitar. It’s all sanded back and ready to be primed and all that good stuff. Is there any other kind of paint I’m able to use when painting? Or is acrylic the most resilient?
Sorry for the late reply! I'd do a bit of research and use what you're comfortable painting with. Acrylic is the best for this style of art, but isn't necessarily the most resilient.
If nothing else, this scene tells us praying did not work out for these chaps!! Bloody lovely job!! Something really fishy about it that I can't put my finger on, but MAN this is sweet! Jack ~'()'~ Canada Manly!
I want to paint my guitar but I'm not using parts, i'm just using a guitar I bought some time ago, do I apply the gesso primer directly on the guitar, or do I have to do something before I apply it?
Thanks for sharing I liked the tutorial! Now when you clear coat spray it’s doifferent from the wet sanding technique, which is brush on!!! Ie; layer of gel medium, or midge podge, wetsand, dry repeat I still havn’t successful sheen with that but in da process!
I'm seriously impressed! I always want to see a custom job that can be done at home. I completely lack the artistic skills to do this but loved what you did, I've love a guitar with a custom Egyptian theme on it, always been interested in pyramids and mummies. Who knows maybe one day i can have someone paint a guitar for me.
Love the fact that you talked about clear coating in depth. This has caught me out before in the past too. Never rush the final steps.
I know right... I still get nervous before clear coating.
sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account??

I've been looking for a tutorial on this for a really long time, I'm very happy I found your channel. Awesome work! :)
great work as usual. I have found that in my artwork if i sand the clear in between coats, the finish turns out amazing , specially after you get a good buff in the end. Just a tip. really love the work Fieldey
This is awesome ! You are right about the clear coat, this can became a nightmare when not cure properly.
this is the best 1 ive found on youtube, so good
I'm surprised and impressed you were able to do the clear coat while the guitar was resting on a flat surface and not hanging it!
Ive been looking for tutorials on how to paint an electric and i thank you for going so in depth!
Fieldey legend in the mastery of artistry of all things rad and cool. 🤘🏻
This is beautiful ! Looking at doing something like this as a gift for someone
love the lucy look!!!!!
Absolutely incredible. I would love some artwork done on my guitar.
I am still pondering what kind of and what way of paintjob I will do on the Olympic White Squier Strat I bought for a bargain. You gave me some very inspirational ideas with this video.
Thank You!
I love this skull paint job you did on guitar.looks awesome.
Great video. I never would have thought to use gesso
Looks incredible! Thanks for the information! :)
This is an amazing video. Such attention to detail!

Hey, I noticed that you didn't mention sanding or polishing after you were done clear coating. Did you not do that part?
Amazing work.. I don't know how I stumbled upon this but I am glad I did..

Looks really cool!
I like the design. Good job 👍🏻

I'm asking because of the movement of the original painting location of artwork. Cheers!
Que increíble eres, te sigo hace años en tu canal, espero te siga yendo increible en todo.
Amazing artwork.
Beautiful! You make it look easy 😉
Looks very good 👍
Looks incredible!
Nice. Air brushing is another cool option for guitar body painting.

Holy shit that looks awesome i wish i could paint like that
I admire your work! greetings from Mexico!
Ficou incrível 😊
Fabulous work as always, Fieldey. Love your attention to detail, right down to the zombie🧟♀️ chick drop sheet 😊
Hahaha! Well, it's actually a very cool old shower curtain.
Amazing skills!! Great work!! My only tiny critique as a guitarist is, now I wouldn't want to play it cuz it's way too nice 😎
It looks absolutely fantastic. Envy your artist talent and drawing skills. Thanks for explaining in detail how you do the different steps, especially the coating. Great tutorial 🤘😊
Thank you sharing this video! What name brand of varnish do you recommend? Thank you!
Beautiful 😍
Loved it so smooth so professional 😊
Superb! Great painting AND teaching. Thank you.
I love the time lapse painting so cool thank you for showing us your talent

the artwork is amazing! great job. the video editing was very good too.
This was great! Who is Jim? Does he have a how to assemble a guitar channel?
Came for the priming process for a guitar and I'm glad it is explained clearly. Now.. your art is awesome.. makes me wonder if I should get some art done on the guitar or stay boring with a flat ivory white. Thanks!
AWESOME! i'm an artist trying to get into guitar but i got a really ugly brown electric guitar 😅 time to paint!
I am SO in Love with your art work Fieldey... It's very inspiring... I'm gonna try something like this...You got another Fan/ subscriber and Insta follower❤️
Thank you so much 😀
Great job
Hey there! Is it possible to start the gesso without first removing the paint on the guitar? Thx
looks sick, but is there any way to sand out brush strokes when doing this? I want to do something similar, but I want that glossy flat finish and I'm terrible at air brushing
Looks amazing! Hoping to customise my acoustic, I assume it's the same process? Thanks for going into so much detail it really helps, I feel more confident to go ahead with my project now :)
Yes! Same detail but maybe cross-reference with a couple more guitar painting tutorials
Turned out awesome!! Next time you could even take it to an auto body shop to spray some automotive clear coat. I use automotive urethane clear coat
Loved this.
Super cool
You're brave.. Dazzling. 😎👍
Cool!!!! you are so talented!!!
Love the guitar body artwork if your not familiar with painting it really does look real.🎸
hi, if my guitar has acrylic on both sides, how would you optimally clear coat? wait for side one to dry, & then flip over & go again?
Great talent!
Ótimo trabalho! Seu estilo é único.
Parabéns!
Subbed within the first few seconds 🤘🏻
So no wet sanding at the end to smooth out anything?
Hey hey. How does the layering of the paints hold up to pick scratches?
That's amazing! I want one!
This was so amazing!!! Awesome looking guitar!
Total badass.
If I were one third as talented at drawing, I’d have a go at it myself. Hmm. Dilemma.
Looks great!! But if you would water sand with 3000 grit it would take the texture from the brush strokes away and make tge surface smooth. Just some friendly advice, I promise I am only trying to help, you do an amazing job!!
So cool
Thats awesome... do the headstock too to make it look more awesome!
I’m wanting to paint my acoustic guitar. It’s all sanded back and ready to be primed and all that good stuff.

Sorry for the late reply! I'd do a bit of research and use what you're comfortable painting with. Acrylic is the best for this style of art, but isn't necessarily the most resilient.
What type of clear spray would you use for a painting on a surboard for a wall decoration?
Just an acrylic spray - depends on the paint you use, but test a small area with rustoleum 2k
I looooove completely all your arts. Watching the process is as wonderful as the final look 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 You are THE MASTER Fieldey
did i see you use a heat gun on the sped up part where you were applying the gesso?
Wow!
If nothing else, this scene tells us praying did not work out for these chaps!!
Bloody lovely job!! Something really fishy about it that I can't put my finger on, but MAN this is sweet!

Love the art 😎
Aweeesome!

Who knows maybe one day i can have someone paint a guitar for me.
can you please guide me the sealer, primer, and how to protect and seal the painted guitar properly
Sorry for the late reply! I'm not a guitar specialist - I would check out some of the other UA-cam tutorials specific to prep and sealing.
Maravilloso trabajo, quedo espectacular. 👍👍👍 Muchas gracias por compartirlo.
Very cool
