Please at least remove the music or lower it down when doing sound test :( that's the most important part on why we are lubing our KBs. anyway, great job! :)
Yes I did for my other videos. This is my first and I know it was a mistake. Thanks for the comment ☺️
@@nominalkeys7656 keep up the good work!
The spacebar went from so loud to a normal key
It would be better with no music when u do a sound test so it would sound properly. 🤔☺️
Yes it's my first video. That was a mistake😅 Here's my tiktok: tiktok.com/@nominalkeys
Lots of sound test there 😁
can the stabilizers be removed without removing the switches? since I don't have a soldering/desoldering kit
the spacebar is super rattly in the sound test, I fixed mine with a simple piece of cotton, I just lifted up the stem then pushed in a small piece of rolled up cotton with a toothpick, if you don't want to lube yet want to fix the spacebar rattle, then just do this, it does a lot
ya bruh I know the stabilizers in the video is not good. It's my first time ever modding a keyboard haha. check out my tiktok. I post there now. tiktok.com/@nominalkeys
@@nominalkeys7656 ps i was talking about the stock not the modded in my standards the modded was pretty good
@@notrllysecure5837 oh i see haha. gotcha
I used your method, shoved up some silicon grease as well (the only grease I have in hand) and fixed the stabs in place with blu tack, day and night difference. Thanks mate
Excellent video quality and very organised!
Do you know which is the led on this keyboard?, im planing to change mine, to purple color or green but i need the exact model of the led.
Much better if didnt put background song for the typing test
Nice vid bro mine came with surprisingly smooth stabs when I took it apart seems like the used some sort of cheap thin lube on it, I've done a bandaid mod and lubed with stabs with permatex dielectric grease sounds good now, might change the switches to gateron clears soon.
Thanks! Ya some keyboards nowadays are already factory lubed.
Do you think i can spray lube this keyboard without desoldering?
I would say so just don't use a lot
yes you can but as always. do it at your own risk
Thanks nice vid
Ajazz ak33 user here
no rgb lighting?
I change the switch to original cherry mx red.. im also do lubing the switches and stabs + foam mod..its turn out great..
Can i lube the stabilisers without soldering or desoldering
it's possible but of course won't be as good
I want them to not rattle
@@lc30055 by lubing them while on the board will be difficult and might not remove it completely. may i know the board you have?
Im gonna get the ajazz ak33 i heard in sound test the spacebar is very ratly
@@lc30055 Oh i see. Okay i cant really help much but teach you how to lube it while on the board and hope for the best.
Nice mod video man, i kinda think of starting a lubing service
Thanks man. Oh cool nice. All the best for ya😁
@@nominalkeys7656 thanks mann
Bro do u have any idea where to buy the lights for this keyboard? Some of mine are broken and I want to change it
I'm not sure for this keyboard. sorry
How much if you do this to my keyboard
You can DM me @nominalkeys for free consultation 😁. We can discuss price and modifications.
Could use better lighting and maybe lower the music but great video!
oh thank you for the comment will do better in future videos. : )
Can i lube them with spray lube methode without damaging the keyboard
there will be a risk when spray lubing. Just remember not to put too much of it. it should be fine
I'm a beginner in this mechanical keyboard world and I'm trying to replace the switch in my ajazz ak33 but I'm going crazy because of the led pins, do you have some tips for me?
There's not much can be done unfortunately. Just take it slow desolder carefully.
Is there any custom 60% keyboard only 130?
I don't believe there is. The most you can get is a cheap membrane 60% and really cheap keycaps. It's a better option just to buy a RK61 in my opinion.
hi, i am from malaysia too, i am just wondering where do you get you krytox 205
i dont think there is any physical shops here that sell krytox 205.
did you but it online?
Hi there, yes I cannot find physical shops that sells lube as well. I bought it online.
Nominal keys can u help me I really want other switches
if i desolder the switch, can i put it in a different hotswap keyboard?
if the pins are all straight and no solder is left on yes. If there is small pieces of solder on the pins it's best not to use in a hotswap board.
Whats better in ur opinion? 204g0 or 205g0? The spring sound on my outemu blue is loud af
In all honesty I never tried 204g0 but what I can say is the 205g0 works perfectly for me.
Hi Bro, how much will it cost to lube IKBC CD108?
if your asking how much lube. 10g is more than enough 😁
@@nominalkeys7656 hahaha..I am asking if I sent it to you to be mod. 😂
@@donzamrinor oh okay do you have carousel?
@@nominalkeys7656 yup, can reach out to you there?
Yes can. you can check me out @stephen357
nice video
Hey. Can you advise the lubricant for switches and stubs on the ajazz aj33
For the switch krytox 205g0 works really well. For the stabilizers from my experience till now, It's best to use krytox 205g0 for the stem and dielectric grease or super lube paste for the wire.
Maybe turn off the music when you're doing a sound test?
Yea sorry. I did it for the other videos. This is my first 😅
Hey so the white stabilizerpart for the space key have been removed for me
Is there any way to fix without resoldering?
Sorry I don't get your question. What white part?
@@nominalkeys7656 it's to the right of the space key
U basically have to put the part onto the stabilizer wire
Okay if it's what I think it is. Your going to have to desolder the switch first because the wire has to be connected to the white part and put in with the wire through the middle.
Do you think I could swap in gateron switches? Thanks for the vid!
I think its possible
Yeah you can
I swapped it with gateron browns
what website did you find the lube at ?
I got it from shopee
I have the same keyboard and I used dielectric grease on stabs and then clip and band aid mod it but it still rattles, do you think krytox will help me?
I think dielectric should work. Maybe you have to put more but not too much. Try adding more and make sure to add them on the metal bars. Let me know if it got fixed😁
I fixed it by putting some cottons inside and the rattle is gone now, thanks!
Did you need al of de tools
Is this Zorro Black Switches? Can Spray lube it.... since solder and desolder kinda too much work.
Hppylyfe?
I don't have spray lube and can't really find it to buy. Spray lubing I believe won't be as nice as lubing with krytox205g0. That's why most people still lube with Krytox 205g0
Do you use gloves or a mask with this product? Is it a problem if it gets on your skin or you smell/breath it while lubing?
Not at all. If it gets on your skin it can be washed off. It does not have any strong smell to it at all.
Hi, can i lube the switches, without desoldering? Because i dont know how to do this(
Yes it's possible. Just press down the switch with a tooth pick and push your brush onto the sides. It's not as good but it will still make the switches smoother.
@@nominalkeys7656 thanks
I'm thinnking about getting this board, do you recommend me this board and then lube it or get a gk61 or sk51 and lubing it because it's hot swap
If you have the budget for a gk61 or a sk51 then it is better for you to get them because they have better quality. And btw do you mean sk61?
@@nominalkeys7656 epomaker sk61, thanks for answering me
Im too lazy to do this does, do you recommend spray lubing instead?
Spray lubing won't get the same effect krytox 205g0 can but they can work too. It's a risk as well. Personally I prefer lubing with krytox. If you really can't spray lubing can also be nice.
What's the difference between gpl 105 and 205?
GPL 105 is oil like liquidity but GPL 205 is cream like basically thicker. GPL 105 is good for bag lubing springs.
do i need to reprogram the ak33 kb once i replace switches?
No programming is needed when switching or after switching switches.
urmmm so the keyboard is not hot swapable ? so i cant just pull the switch off
How did he get it out tho
@@jaydenkengthanyakarn6596 he desoldered it first
Can you withour removing anything the switches?
Sorry I don't quite understand your question
wait, they keyboard isn’t a hot swap? do i live in a lie ?
yes the keyboard is not hotswappable. The switches needs to be desoldered
@@nominalkeys7656 Will be having fun putting my Pandas on then! Amazing video, thanks for the answer.
@@CNNECTCTRAL81how does it goes? Please upload typing test
Is it hotswap or you have to desolder the switches
need desoldering
i have this keyboard and i am planning to lube tap mod bandade mod and put foam in it
all best the bro
i have this keyboard with blue switches and its so poor quality the space is rattling so much
@@ace_aviation1 yea the quality varies on these keyboards i have noticed that this keyboard specifically the one with white trim has really bad rattle but you should be able to fix the rattle by lubing the stabs and bandading and lubing the wire
@@SixEightSixty oh ok thanks
And can u do it with ur hands
You have to desolder your switches first then use a switch puller.
Is the pcb compatible with mx switches?
I'm not very sure about that sorry. Have not tried.
probably considering that the zorro switches use mx switch models. you could put those switches on a cherry board and it'd probably still be the same
the thing at the egde of the spacebar is broken what do i do?
Sorry I don't know what are you exactly talking about...
@@nominalkeys7656 on my keyboard the ak33 under the spacebar is the switch and then two things at the side of it one of them is broken
are you talking about the space bar or the switch/stabilizers? If I'm not wrong your talking about th stem of the switch?
@@nominalkeys7656 the stabalizers
okay how is it broken?
So it is hot swappleble
So it isn’t hot swappleble
Mine won’t come off
You need to desolder first bro
Are the stabilzers soldered?
No. The stabilizers are clipped onto the plate.
@@nominalkeys7656 thank you
Is it hotswappable?
No it's not. I had to desolderer. It's shown in the video😅
@@nominalkeys7656 aw sad I wanted to change it to brown switch
awh maybe try to learn desoldering. It's not that hard just need a little bit practice
Can you make another video without the music while typing. Can't hear the typing sound.

Haha. Why? how do you lube?
@@nominalkeys7656just put a lube inside and top xdddddddddd and no effect
@@nominalkeys7656 No rations
Sorry. what do you mean?
@@nominalkeys7656 in short just a game with lube xdxd
I have question if the lights are broken , is it replaceable? or is it like the switch that needs to be soldered?
yes it is replaceable
Can I use Krytox 205 instead of parmatex in stab and wire??
Yes, of course you can. That's what I did with mine.
