Thank you so much for that video! The style, the quality and overall impression is so nice! It's really overwhelming to find such a great video, especially when I was searching exactly for that - just (at least possible) modding the Ajaz AK33, the "how to" and the result. You really helped me! Now I will definitely try to do that with my keyboard. Blue switches were interesting at first, when I bought the keyboard, considering it was my first mechanical keyboard back in the day (and the last one even till this day lol), but the clickiness, noise and the feeling got me bothered already. Thank you so much!
I bought this one as my first mechanical keyboard for more than a year ago, and still use it! the mods look and sound pretty dope, thanks for the video!
Definetly lubing the switches, it makes such noticeable difference on the whole keyboard. Definetly lube your switches with actual krytox or other brand lube if you can. At spot nr 2 I would say lubing the stabs makes a big difference as well.
This keyboard is great.. im still rocking it.. im already change the switch to original cherry mx red.. also lubing both switches and stabs.. and do foam mod.. its turn out like premium ones.. really worth for the money..

@@ingmar5418 you might wanna put a magnet on your screwdriver to magnetize it, so that the screw comes out. If that doesn't work then you should just use a hammer and hit the handle of the screwdriver while twisting. Gently tho, because you don't wanna break your pcb.
Thats great. I think about to customize my AK33 too. But i want a some case... so, anyone knows any cases that sits on this keyboard. Or i need make it (CNC for example) myself?
No, in this case, the keyboard has clip-in stabs. You can just open them by pressing the lock system, flip it up, then put the bandaid on the plate, and close the stab. You can watch how I did this in my akko modding video.
Lol I know that's dumb, but I don't use this keyboard anymore, plus I hate clicky switches. I just wanted to do some mods to get familiar with the custom keyboard scene.
Hi there! Mine came without backlight and would like to add leds to it. The first one would be if I need 1.8 mm or 3 mm leds for the stock switches and the 2nd question would be if it is possible then to turn them on or off if it came without and I am going to add other leds?
Honestly I've got no idea man, you would have to do some research on the switches, which are fake cherry ones. I believe they call them zorro switches. Good luck with your project!

If your question is or you can change the switches yourself after you bought it, then you can, but you have desolder every switch, and then solder all the new switches in. This process is way easier with a Hotswap pcb.
Yeah well since I've spray lubed there have been like 5 keys or so that I had to press with force in order for it to register. That went away after like 2 weeks or so, and then another key started. But in the last few months I've really had no issues with it. Doesn't mean I would recommend it tho.

I have the same keyboard gathering dust somewhere, but with black switches. Thanks for this video. I may try something like this in the future.

Good job. You don’t by any chance know how thick the dampening material you used in the back is? Thinking about ordering some and adding to my board.
