I met my 2nd husband way sooner then I thought I would. I wanted a year break too, but when you meet someone who makes you happy, you have to roll with it. Together 8 years, married 6, and am still super happy, he make me feel special, couldn’t ask for anything more.

I dated someone just two months after my divorce was final. I was emotionally detached from my ex for a LONG time before we split. It was honestly super easy to move on because I wasn’t MISERABLE anymore. Go where your heart takes you. You are so deserving of this and don’t ever for even one second question it. I remember early on in our relationship I had doubts/fears like “this is just how he is in the beginning”, “this won’t last”, etc. because of past relationships and I can say over 5 years later, getting married and having a baby together he’s just as sweet to me, thoughtful, and intentional.
