    thank you Garrett for the video. One day I will work up my confidence to try this on my Yukon. My driver and front passenger seats are ripping like your suburban seats were.

      Honestly it wasn’t too bad, it’s definitely worth it in the end, makes it look way nicer! 😉

    Thank you for show us how to do this as not an expert. I’m can’t wait to do mine. My seats are 20 years old now and need to be replaced. Dude i have the same non factory style spade connectors too. It’s probably factory just high current.

    Great video as usual Garrett. My C7 has seat problems with the side switch panel keeps falling off. It seems real flimsy but I guess that is what the warrantee is for. 2nd time.

    Can't this change of cover on driver's seat be performed without disassembling the seat itself and only working around it?

    great video. My problem on my '05 Escalade is the heated seats come on by themselves on high. I turn them off.. they come back on. This happens intermittantly, and repeats over and over. Sometimes, the back seat heat comes on and the switch is not lit up.. seems there's a problem with the switch, or could it be something else?? Do you have any feedback on this type of problem?? Thanks

    I hate people that like to hear themselves talk and show literally no work in progress which was the whole point of the video😑

    That packaging was so unprofessional considering what they charge. Especially the heating element.
    I’d be angry after paying hundreds extra for their “premium” products.
    Even though their heating elements aren’t that expensive

    @theseatshop if you recommend putting new foam, why don't you guys just sell the bottoms as a complete piece, minus the frames?

    After 354,000 miles I need new seats... not a cheap venture, but I'm tempted. ;)

      Whoa, if it’s running strong with that mileage, I feel like it has well earned some new seats!

    Just one question where do you buy all these parts in online or in a store

    • @1Brain4Wheels
      @1Brain4Wheels  3 роки тому

      Hey Juan, you can buy the replacement seat leather/vinyl as well as teh heater pads straight from the Seat Shop at www.theseatshop.com/2003-chevrolet-suburban-ls-or-lt/#?valueIds=8261,8256&groupIds=3,7042&seatRowId=6&seatPositionId=9 or they also sell them on Amazon, here's a link to the "shale" colored seat bottom like what I used: amzn.to/3tlLbv3 as well as the butt heater: amzn.to/3nce9MX

    Soooo what about the side buttons for the seat ? You didn’t mention it at all? How did you put it back? Cut a hole?

    I’d maybe throw the new covers in a dryer on low for awhile right before putting them on.
