Fun day out comparing a 1970's Series 2a, 1980's Range Rover Classic, 1990's Defender 90 and a 2000's Discovery 2. Do you favour a decade? or a certain model ? Comment below
Greeting from Canada where old L/R are scarce. I once had an 88 inch Series2A 2/4 l petrol. Great fun but salty roads killed it. Looks like everyone is enjoying their rigs. Suggest you look into kinetic recovery ropes for a more forgiving pull and stored kinetic energy. My favourite would be a 110 Defender.
Hi Haydn. Its got to be Series for me. I had a S3 for many years which I absolutely adorded. Heartbroken when I totalled it...whoops!! I have 1986 90 now. As much as i love it, it lacks the charm of an old Series.
Another great video Haydn. Loved it. My 1980 series 3 is by far my favourite. However, I do have a plan to replace the engine and drivetrain for something more suitable for touring than the tired 2.25 petrol in it now! Although I do like the td5 Discoveries. I had an '02 model which I regret selling. Due to the cost of fuel here in the UK diesel is king. Keep the great vids coming.
Late 90's had the best of all worlds, still proper drive trains and the start of the electronic helps. It is a real shame that LR missed the trick of auto and putting ABS/TC on all the 300tdi vehicles.
Land Rovers/Range Rovers have no factory fitted transmission/transfer case skid plates, which are more or less standard on American and Japanese trucks, so the transmission cross-member often gets gouged in certain off-road situations. In one of your vids I thought I caught a glimpse of one fitted under your Series 2. Is that correct? In the affirmative it must be an aftermarket item.
I like the series Land rovers but also the coil sprung later land rovers. The newest Defender is a tea egg. What size tires are on your '72 series? And do have the standard axles and halfshafts? Greetings from Holland
Man - Ben going down in that big was crazy. Nice work on the clip!

Give me the Series 2 every day! What a beast.
I'd have any of them, but my preference would be a '70s two-door Range Rover with big tyres.

Another Canadian viewer here. I live near Owen Sound - about 3 hours drive north of London, Ontario.

I'm not certain about decades, but I would love to have a Series III or a Defender, safe 'mud plugging' cheers mate.

excelente, me encanta el RR , tuve uno 1988, esa parrilla tipo original es genial.
Series, any day.
Nice video, cheers for posting👍🏻
Awesome video as always. Can't wait for the next one
Hi Hayden, again great off road video. My top is series, defender, disco and RRC.
He's only gone and done it again, it's his best yet!
Great! Haydn you are a real dare devil. Love your passion for off roading. I always enjoy your videos. Stay blessed always
Love all...but series/Def are the friend that every good savage wants by his side. (Even if you dress correctly)
Hi Hayden it’s me Mason I watched your video it was very good
