Alan white won’t be there due to how he was treated by Noel , Bonehead was essentially kicked out of the band by Noel as well … Tony Mccaroll definitely won’t be there …. Andy Bell is touring with his band Ride and may not want to screw them over for a small UK tour with limited dates …Guigsy quit and hasn’t had contact with anyone but Bonehead so it’s pretty much a certainty…Liam doesn’t really need the Tour other than making a bit extra cash that he was drawing anyways with his sold out concerts…. People think this is a full reformation but I thinks it’s actually Noel paying for his divorce, I’d be surprised if more than a few singles are released .. kinda like the Stone Roses reunion. So that leaves Gem , Zac Starkey …. Noel likes the control he has with his new band .., I can’t see him and Liam making a full run at Oasis again .. and that may be for the best.
I hope Zakk Starkey is on drum because he gives them that Who sound. Andy and Gem are the better sounding of the rhythm section as well as Gem on lead but I would love to see Bonehead on guitar with the rest of them and if they don't its a big wasted opportunity if they don't. I don't think Gwigsy was that important in the sound, or Carol for that matter.
Would love to see original line up, McCarroll might not have been up to it back then but I bet he is now, White is putting stuff on social media playing Oasis songs maybe he’s putting his hat in the ring
Wow, they have enough great musicians to make 2-3 full rock bands! I hope we get some new Oasis music out of this and our boys drag along some top notch up and coming British Indy rock bands with them, with a classic band or two. I hope that it's done in a way to spur on a real rock revival.
No chance. I'm 100% sure Noel is going to pick Gem. He's better than Bonehead by miles, plus Gem is Noel's right hand man. Bonehead should only be considered as a special guest.😊
Some crazy high %s Guigsy; didn't play much on DM but played a lot of bass on the following two albums when everything was recorded to a click / a noel acoustic guitar. But he's stayed out the limelight ever since, so I'd give him maybe 5% Tony mccarrol; often talks about oasis and has said he'd be very open to a return. He won't do the full gig but potentially come on for a few (highly unlikely though) 10% Alan white; been teasing that he might want back in but again I can't see Oasis swapping drummers mid gig 15% Zak Starkey? maybe if chris can't do it, but chris was the last drummer - he never technically left - and has played with beady eye and the high flying birds 95% for chris. I'd give Zak a similar number if chris cant make it Gem and bonehead 100% Andy 80%, Russ Pritchard, 10% (obviously higher is andy doesn't do it) Matt Deighton 0% Steve white 0% ( has actually criticised oasis since his spell and there's about 5 drummers ahead of him)
Aren't liam and noel going to do a press conference interview at some point in the run up to the big reunion, like stone roses did a propper reunion announcement.
Alan White had to change the way he played the drums because of Noel, The songs that Noel was writing at the time and the fact that he used a different producer who normally did dancy sort of music, Noel was also using backing tracks and drum loops. Alan’s drumming was also turned down quite a bit in the mix, I heard helter skelter today could hardly hear his drums at all. Alan is by far the best oasis drummer and he’s the one that should be on tour with them.
The only one from the original line-up that is a must is Bonehead, and he probably will as he played with Liam just a few years ago. So Bonehead, Bell, and Gem. On the drums...i don't care too much about that as i don't even remember who took the job after White was fired.
There's nothing stopping the line up changing throughout each gig. Bonehead for the 94-97 stuff heading off stage for Gem to do the 99-09 stuff being prime example. Drummer? Share it with Alan White and Chris Sharrock. The bass gets tricky. I'd pick Andy Bell but would love Guigsy to get a payday, so if he could do the odd song. Then you've got guest appearances- Get your money on Weller and Marr . .
I think Gem and Noel will be the guitarists. Andy would be the most suitable choice on bass and as a drummer it's between Chris and Alan. Bonehead would only participate as a special guest, although personally I don't care if he's there or not. In any case, the ones that really matter are Liam and Noel.
Liam, noel, bonehead, gem, bassist from hfb, Alan white, keyboardist from kula shaker who’s played with oasis and nfb, potentially guigsy for the Manchester gigs
The news about Oasis reunion always focus on Noel and Liam... I know that they're the most important members (probably). But they won't go to the stage as a 2 member band, and Oasis was always a band, not a duo. Finally a video that focus on this subject.
Noel will be calling the shots musically and he will want to stay in his comfort zone as much as possible, so expect NGHFB core line up with Bonehead guesting on some DM songs only, as Noel will not want to adapt back to playing with Bonehead rather than Gem on songs like DLBIA
I think as far as Noel is concerned he is doing Liam and the fans a favour by agreeing to reform, so I doubt he will be sentimental about trying to get original/past members back with the exception of Bonehead whose inclusion was probably specifically requested by Liam as a non negotiable
I'm guessing Oasis '25 will likely be - Liam, Noel, Bonehead, Gem... and possibly Chris Sharrock (drums) w/ either Russell Pritchard (from Noel Gallagher's High flying Birds) or Drew McConnell (Liam's solo band) on bass... Either Mike Rowe (High flying Birds) or Christian Madden (Liam's solo band) on keyboards... but knowing Noel Gallagher and his controlling tendencies, he will likely pick members of the High Flying Birds. However, Liam Gallagher has plenty of talent in his solo band that can be included in Oasis if needed - Mike Moore (guitar)... Dan McDougall (drums)... Jay Mehler (guitar or bass)... I'm hoping he will have a 4th solo studio album and a 2nd John Squire album.
You know your stuff! Liam, Noel, Bonehead, Gem, it’s the drummer that needs thought. Id like it to be Alan White. Not sure he’ll get it. What would be best is appearances by everyone, even if it’s just for one song for some of them. Alan stopped turning up, his priorities changed & he couldn’t be bothered anymore with the band dynamics.
I heard he had personal issues, Which Noel and Liam both had but it was ok for them both to bail on tours. It seems to be it’s ok for them to do it but not anyone else.
Noel’s not going to go from playing with very capable and pro musicians for 20 odd years back to playing with guigsy and mccarroll. That’s not a chance he’s going to be willing to take in stadiums.
Guigsy won't be there, that's for certain. He's not been in contact with any of them in ages, maybe in christmas card terms with Bonehead at most. But he's happy living quiet life nowadays.
Liam , Noel , Bonehead , Andy Bell and Zak Starkey, is my bet. Starkey drummed with Oasis and with Johnny Marr which i think makes him favourite , plus he is more of a name, I think Chris Sharrock is too close to high flying birds and Liam may want someone neutral. My wanted list would be Liam , Noel , Bonehead , Gem , Andy Bell and Alan White , as they were in Oasis the longest except for Guigsy, and I very much doubt Guigsy will be back , I dont even know if he plays bass anymore , I haven't heard his name with any bands or anything , so I just think he won't play , I've a feeling he will get an invite though to be backstage. Then I imagine Johnny Marr and or John Squire will be guest guitarists.
My choices possibility line up; Bonehead 100% Gem Archer 90% Alan White 80% Chris Sharrock 60% Andy Bell 50% Tony McCaroll - Guigsy 20% Mike Rowe 70% (because he always have together with Noel Over the year with HFB too) PS; Im always hoping theyre all of members comeback if that happening
I'm sorry but Whitey has to be the drummer for their reunion tour man. He was the backbone of their 90's live sound 95 thru 2001. He came up with some sick grooves on Wonderwall, DLBIA, etc. Bonehead is a given. They can make due without Guigsy as a four piece, but Guigsy would be sorely missed by the hardcore fans.
They need atleast bonehead and Alan white in the line up! these guys from the 90’s who recorded there most hit songs that made oasis famous, having these two would be honouring there loyal fans
It’ll only be Bonehead if Noel wants 3 guitarists. I went to a recent HFBs concert and Noel only played one full solo all gig. There’s no chance he’d want to take on the lead guitarist role again. So Gem Archer is nailed on. I agree that it’s more likely he’ll make a guest appearance, maybe for the encores.
When Noel had Jeremey Stacey as his drummer, I thought HFB had the most punch and personally I'd like to see him add that to Oasis. This is Oasis's LAST BEST CHANCE to prove their glory again and they BETTER take advantage of that. A couple female backup vocalists, either from HFB or Liam's ladies to fill out the sound and take some the stress off Liam's voice. Also Russelll Pritchard does a god job of supporting vocals. I don't see any reason to bring out band members that don't contribute much. Liam, Gem, Bonehead for a few songs, Russell Pritchard, Chris Sharrock(Jeremy Stacey would be good) and Mike Rowe. And Noel actually playing some lead guitar
Considering the High Flying Birds already has Gem Archer, Mike Rowe and Chris Sharrock, who were at one point in Oasis, it should be no problem. It is said Bonehead is going to join them. No chance of Guigsy or Tony McCarroll. Andy Bell could come back for the post 2000s Oasis songs and Alan White is throwing teasers on Instagram.
I think they'll still be walking on stage to Fuckin' In The Bushes, and they have lots of big hits post-2000 - Go Let It Out, Hindu Times, Little By Little, Importance of Being Idle, Lyla - lots of good tracks to choose from, I want the setlist to be well rounded
@@blastfromthepast-o1d So no one’s interested in Little By Little, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, The Importance Of Being Idle, Lyla, Let There Be Love or Go Let It Out? Give it a rest mate.

Alan White missed a meeting and Liam was tired of him and made Noel fire him as Noel already wanted him gone. His drumming was to jazz and not rock He was depressed and had tendinitis

Guigs has walked out of the band twice, not happening
Giving McCarroll 5% is pretty generous.
Lol Noel sure has burned more than a few bridges over the years
Ride are touring now and haven't got any tour dates past December booked in.
Guigsy and Alan White
I am. On scissors.
What?
You looking at me?
You will be😂
Would love to see original line up, McCarroll might not have been up to it back then but I bet he is now, White is putting stuff on social media playing Oasis songs maybe he’s putting his hat in the ring
Wow, they have enough great musicians to make 2-3 full rock bands! I hope we get some new Oasis music out of this and our boys drag along some top notch up and coming British Indy rock bands with them, with a classic band or two. I hope that it's done in a way to spur on a real rock revival.
I hope so, if any band can bring back rock it's Oasis!
I think the line up will change during the show depending on the songs. Explains the ticket prices too.
That would be cool to see
@@NickCinoMusic we’ll see eventually
I dont think they are going to go with 3 guitars. So i would say its either Gem or Bonehead, personally I want to see Bonehead for nostalgia
No chance. I'm 100% sure Noel is going to pick Gem. He's better than Bonehead by miles, plus Gem is Noel's right hand man. Bonehead should only be considered as a special guest.😊
Some crazy high %s
Guigsy; didn't play much on DM but played a lot of bass on the following two albums when everything was recorded to a click / a noel acoustic guitar. But he's stayed out the limelight ever since, so I'd give him maybe 5%
Tony mccarrol; often talks about oasis and has said he'd be very open to a return. He won't do the full gig but potentially come on for a few (highly unlikely though) 10%
Alan white; been teasing that he might want back in but again I can't see Oasis swapping drummers mid gig 15%
Zak Starkey? maybe if chris can't do it, but chris was the last drummer - he never technically left - and has played with beady eye and the high flying birds 95% for chris. I'd give Zak a similar number if chris cant make it
Gem and bonehead 100%
Andy 80%,
Russ Pritchard, 10% (obviously higher is andy doesn't do it)
Matt Deighton 0%
Steve white 0% ( has actually criticised oasis since his spell and there's about 5 drummers ahead of him)
Investeren seen Matt back in Werchter 2000. He fit the job description.
Best guess for me: Liam, Noel, Bonehead, Gem, Chris Sharrock (drums), Russell Pritchard (bass).
Bonehead has got too be there that's what the fans want
Then you've got guest appearances- Get your money on Weller and Marr . .
A rotating lineup would be cool!
lol no It will be the same line up throughout. How on earth could you rehearse shows for a start.
Not sure if guigsy can even still play bass tbh
Quoaisis tribute band. Like watching paint dry live. Sound great on record though.
I think Gem and Noel will be the guitarists. Andy would be the most suitable choice on bass and as a drummer it's between Chris and Alan. Bonehead would only participate as a special guest, although personally I don't care if he's there or not. In any case, the ones that really matter are Liam and Noel.
You got to go whitey on drums, bonehead and gem on rythym, Andy bell on base. Noel and Liam are first names on the team sheet obvs
That's the best lineup for sure
Liam, noel, bonehead, gem, bassist from hfb, Alan white, keyboardist from kula shaker who’s played with oasis and nfb, potentially guigsy for the Manchester gigs
If I were them I'd get as close to the original lineup as possible.. but not holding my breath.
The news about Oasis reunion always focus on Noel and Liam... I know that they're the most important members (probably). But they won't go to the stage as a 2 member band, and Oasis was always a band, not a duo. Finally a video that focus on this subject.
You're right they aren't a duo, im excited to see who else will be on stage with them
Noel will be calling the shots musically and he will want to stay in his comfort zone as much as possible, so expect NGHFB core line up with Bonehead guesting on some DM songs only, as Noel will not want to adapt back to playing with Bonehead rather than Gem on songs like DLBIA
I think as far as Noel is concerned he is doing Liam and the fans a favour by agreeing to reform, so I doubt he will be sentimental about trying to get original/past members back with the exception of Bonehead whose inclusion was probably specifically requested by Liam as a non negotiable
Totally agreed.
Gem archer is a fantastic guitarist, he insane not to involve him
You know your stuff!
Alan whites drumming was tame
Noel’s not going to go from playing with very capable and pro musicians for 20 odd years back to playing with guigsy and mccarroll. That’s not a chance he’s going to be willing to take in stadiums.
Same here.
True but the rough around the edges vibe from that lineup made Oasis imo. Later Oasis were better musicians but too polished for my liking.
Alan White on drums or BUST! Bonehead is a MUST
Both would be great!
Keyboards 🎹🤔Jay Darlington
If it's Liam and yer granny on bongos...it's Oasis.
You missed Scott McLeod on bass!
Guigsy won't be there, that's for certain.
He's not been in contact with any of them in ages, maybe in christmas card terms with Bonehead at most. But he's happy living quiet life nowadays.
He deserves his quiet life, maybe he'll attend one of the gigs as a guest
My choices possibility line up;
Bonehead 100%
Gem Archer 90%
Alan White 80%
Chris Sharrock 60%
Andy Bell 50%
Tony McCaroll - Guigsy 20%
Mike Rowe 70% (because he always have together with Noel Over the year with HFB too)
PS; Im always hoping theyre all of members comeback if that happening
This is like speculating England's opening 11 and which position everyone would play.
It's a tough job but someone had to do it lol
Haha true .. except Oasis don’t bottle it
I'm sorry but Whitey has to be the drummer for their reunion tour man. He was the backbone of their 90's live sound 95 thru 2001.
He came up with some sick grooves on Wonderwall, DLBIA, etc.
Bonehead is a given. They can make due without Guigsy as a four piece, but Guigsy would be sorely missed by the hardcore fans.
Alan needs to come back
i wish gem would have sang in oasis dude was good in heavy stereo
Totally, talented dude
Noel, Liam, Bonehead, Alan White (if he ever talked to Noel again), and Gem on bass.
Or bonehead on bass. He’s done it before.
Gem on bass, interesting!
Alan White on drums again would be great.
It would be cool to see him again
They might get Tony up for supersonic maybe..
Hell no.
Hell yes
@@robertocaba5915No chance man.
Apparently Paul mccartney is on bass, and Ringo is on Drums... George and John will be holograms. ✌
Sounds good to me! Lol
Alan, Bonhead and Gem are in for sure. Andy won't be as he's busy with Ride. I think it'll be Russ for HFB.
It'd be interesting to hear Oasis with 3 guitars, although Noel might find it ridiculous lol
Man doesn’t know how percentages work. 😂 Good video tho
I wish tony but he wont :( but it would be amazing!!!!!
No one is interested in the post-2000 oasis songs. Why waste time on the night?
I think they'll still be walking on stage to Fuckin' In The Bushes, and they have lots of big hits post-2000 - Go Let It Out, Hindu Times, Little By Little, Importance of Being Idle, Lyla - lots of good tracks to choose from, I want the setlist to be well rounded
Alan White makes sense to me, hopefully Andy too
@@blastfromthepast-o1d So no one’s interested in Little By Little, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, The Importance Of Being Idle, Lyla, Let There Be Love or Go Let It Out? Give it a rest mate.
@@Floyd_18 LOL If oasis didn't do ANY of those songs, no one would care. Fact. If they omitted Supersonic, Don't Look Back..., Rock n' Roll Star, Some Might Say, Acquiesce, there'd be a riot. And not in a good way. I'm right. You're wrong. End of.
Gem’s looking like Paul Weller lol.
Lol totally!
I was typing "if Noel doesn't show up it won't be an oasis reunion" just before you said, "I'm joking". Lol
Haha!
Alan White missed a meeting and Liam was tired of him and made Noel fire him as Noel already wanted him gone.
His drumming was to jazz and not rock
He was depressed and had tendinitis
Guigsy was quite decent at bass if u look at the be here now tour gigs when u can actually hear him
I think he did a decent job live, I always thought he did the studio stuff until I heard otherwise a few years back
@@NickCinoMusic it’s confirmed he did all of be here now and most of morning glory. We don’t know about the other stuff with 100% certainty
It has to be the original band for me with Alan White on drums. He’s easily the best oasis drummer for me.
Aside from who I would like to see, I think for the cash grab it’ll be Liam & Noel and some session players. I think any previous members will command a revenue share that Liam & Noel will want to avoid.
It should definitely have bonehead, andy, gem, chris and maybe john squire fir champagne supernova 👀
Oh yeah Squires gotta rip that solo on Supernova!
Bonehead , Gem , Liam , Noel , Chris , Andy
Zak Starkey, Gem Archer Andy Bell , Bonehead, Boyan chaudhuray
Wishlist would be Liam; Noel; Bonehead; Gem; who the @#% is Andy Bell and Alan White
Bonehead looked like Frank Sidebottom when he was younger
I think the trailer they released with the formal reunion announcement may be a big clue as to who is coming back, hear me out 🤘🏼
I think you're right! Excited to finally find out who will be up there with Liam and Noel 🤘
@@NickCinoMusic nothing short of angelic will be up there with the god bros
The trailer pretty much focuses on Noel and Liam the entire time, and shows Bonehead for 2 shots.
