I would suggest turning the audio up voume a lot more for the next videos, this is really great content and I think youtube needs more of these types of videos, where designers actually show their process instead of another hundreds of "figma beginner tutorial" type of videos
Great work man. I think you are really good at this design tokens thing. I would suggest you do a maybe 3-hour video on building a design system token on Figma. I and lots of people will surely appreciate it. I've tirelessly looked for a good video on intensive design system tokens, but I couldn't find one.
@@ReadyDesignerOne hey mate yes am using shad cn, actually starting out a big project for my company, I need light/dark modes for desktop and mobile. Your dashboard design videos were a so helpful ! Any suggestions for a simple UI design system? I’ve got a Tailwind Figma file, but it’s too complicated with extra stuff. Looking for a chill dark and light theme library. Any ideas?
I have watched your video, but I still a little bit confused on how to use it in my Figma project. So my front end dev recommend me to use shadcn for design, but how can I implement it in my Figma project? Can I just copy and paste the component and customize the design accordingly? How will the fron end dev implement it later?
Great question. If your front end dev recommended shadcn for design, you can replicate a component in Figma that you need, for example, the calendar or date picker. If you want to make make some changes to the component in, such as a theme: font, color, spacing you can do this in Figma. Then the developer can figure out a way to use tokens to integrate them into the codebase. The components in shadcn are well designed, its probably only fonts and color that you might want to change.

Nice, thanks for the feedback. I will use my microphone next time too.

Thanks Yusuf, have you checked the official figma UA-cam channel? They got some good stuff on variables?
Please share the design system library, great work mate 🎉
Coming out soon. Do you use shadcn/UI ?

@bearduo wedges by orman Clark for lemonsqueezy is good. There are some shadcn unofficial ds in figma community. Do you just need the foundation?
@@ReadyDesignerOne yes correct only the foundation would be great I can build the components as required, thanks again

@@ReadyDesignerOne well explained, thank you. But, my frontend developer already resigned 🙂
@@nurliyana3897 Your welcome.
Are you working at a startup as a designer?
@@ReadyDesignerOne yup...and i also planned to quit actually 😅
Yes it's quite common now.
I did that last year.
Did you record in an airplane lavatory :)
Lol, audio will be better next time. Maybe first class 🤣
@@ReadyDesignerOne haha you’re doing a great job. Can you explain more how to import shadcn in to variables in figma using all shadcn defined specs
Good question. I'm gonna share the figma file very soon. But I can share a bit on variables in a video.
amazing work dude 👍, how can i access this is figma?
Thanks Yusuf, it's coming very soon. Won't be perfect, but will have a free version. I have been testing accessibility and responsiveness
