Overbite is serious. Apart from aesthetics, It can cause lower jaw pain, tmj and speech problems too. Glad someone talked about this as i couldn't find a single youtuber who isnt a dentist talk about this. Love
Whatever u have said is really true, but there also some exceptional cases where actually small chin / jaw (not really recessed) suits facial structures better, so while considering u r jaw shape or chin shape not always look into ideal beauty standard like really strong jaw and all, rather look into u r facial structure what type of chin jaw suits u better and on u r case what u have said is really true u will look better if u had strong jaw but each case is different u have to analyse individually in majority strong jaw looks better for many facial structures. But just for information I have seen some cases where small jaw (not too reccesed) look good on some people rather than really strong jaw so analyse each and every thing before taking any actions if u have small jaw (not too reccesed) and if u feel it suits u and u feel u only need braces to make it better go for it I can give u some eg. Like poompat lam samang(Thai actor) he has small jaw comparatively but a really good chin I think it really compliments him he doesn't really need to have strong jaw to get into ideal beauty standards personally I think each people have different beauty standards to get into their best self , well whatever I have said here is for information which I think would help some people so don't take this negatively. And I also have seen some other real life examples just for information 😊 Thank you

i think what you said in this video was good, but I'd like to say that UPPERTEETH don't move back, they can if you get your tooth extracted and then it can be pushed back, similarly, braces CAN bring your lower jaw forward if you do everything right, including the post braces period, which is wearing retainers (permanently)
As far as I know. Lower jaw can only be brought forward if the person is still in development phase (pre teen-early teen).
Right, because my mandible is short I have excessive overbite and i lost my 2 upper tooth to bring back my upper jaw backward and my overbite gone now 👍

you actually don't need a surgery to bring your mandible forward.you can go to an Orthotopist for an orthotropic treatment.
Mewing helped me alot fr, like when i was 16 i started mewing and after few weeks it became my habit. I changed my jawline from ovebite to ideal even when i was chubby at that time. Scientifically what i got to know i.e jaw (mandible) is the only bone in a human body that grows for a longer period of time since the last growth cells are still active at that only region. Ty for your videos too it helps a lot its not been so long i started following your content.
Also i wish you make a video on knock knee if possible there are not that much videos on that since no one never tried talking about that. I feel like i have knock knee but i think i don't maybe its just my weak mass distribution between my thighs.

my upper teeth have forward growth however they are not 'that' much forward. Like 0.9cm. When i went to doctor he said i need to remove 2 of my teeths to create 'space'. My father rejected.
However other than my family and relatives no one has ever pointed out my teeth not even my friends and all. My father says jaise jaise mature joga face bhad jaega fhir visible bhi nahi hoga.
So as of now i just forward my lower jaw a little bit to match the teeth alignment.

Do mewing to expand maxilla and make space then u wouldn't have to remove teeth and will also get better lower jaw forward growth as lower jaw also expand with upper jaw and removing teeth could deform your facial structure and make it less sharp as teeth provide a strong structure to jaw .
You can also Try thumb pulling but don't touch your teeth with your thumb while doing it , search it up do it every morning and before sleeping for 5 mins and your maxilla was expand faster

Ye case to case depend krta h. Meri maxilla as a kid overly developed thi so i had to pull it back with braces and now my face has improved a lot. Braces agar teenage me lagao and extractions na karao to they are good, just deny extractions

This is my 5th year with braces and I had excessive overjet and a overbite and let me tell you that braces doesn't really reduce the definition of cheekbones and other facial features that much. those people who experienced a decrease in facial definition probably had other causes behind that which can be bad breathing habits. I can send my pics as well for proof.
