Hey Craig, I'm registered to race the 2024 event and was gutted to see that races can't shoot onboard video of the actual race. Then, I came across this video and you mentioned the "Camera package" where they take you video, cut some and return the rest. I can't find that info anywhere on the Romaniacs site. I found the page that explicitly forbids the shooting of video on the course under penalty of death (j/k) but no option anywhere for the camera package you mentioned. Any info would be appreciated!
Hi mate. It changes every year but last year it was free to run the camera, you needed permission and show your socials to them etc. there was a set of rules of what you can put into the video and a bond of $2000 in case you broke the rules.
