Say good-bye to Vernel Fournier.
My brothers job as a teenager was a busboy in Salaam restaurant in Chicago. There was a trio that played there. John Young ( piano) , Eddie Calhoun (bass) and Vernel Fournier (drums) . I would order bean soup and whole wheat toast for $2 and take a long time to eat it so I could listen and learn from these great musicians.
I KNOW THIS GUY. BUT NOT LIKE THIS. AMAZING PERFORMANCE.
