Nice deep fryer I just got one. However one feature they left off that really bugs me is there is no way to hang the basket on the edge to let the grease drip off the food
Thank you for the video. I’ve been considering this fryer for 2 years now, but have held off due to limited storage in my kitchen. Do you know of any manufacturer, preferably All-Clad, that has a smaller version of this fryer with induction?
Hi, thanks for the video, it was helpful! Could you do a video on how to filter the oil and clean the fryer? My instruction manual is lost and there isn’t one on the all clad website.
Thank you for the video. All-Clad has very poor descriptions of thier products on the website and there are few reviews. Considering the price of all their stuff I prefer to watch as many reviews of All-Clad items before purchase. I got their classic waffle maker after searching reviews for almost 2 years. I have no regrets but am a little skeptical about the deep fryer. All-Clad's reputation for electric appliances is not the best. Some of the things I dislike about this fryer is the "play" in the knobs. Also it has no digital temperature control but it has a digital timer. That doesn't make sense. The shallow basket is what most people complain about. I'm not a fan of the grease drainer. Some people complain it's very cheap plastic and it leaks. I'd prefer no grease drain at all. How can it be easier to clean with more moving parts than the space shuttle? I wish they'd make a simple deep fryer without all the bells and whistles. I've got just about all All-Clad dishes and appliances in my kitchen but I will pass on this one. Again, thanks for the video.
I'm still scratching my head about how shallow the basket is. What's the point of a deep fryer if you get like 1 inch depth of cooking space? He had a single layer of fries in that basket and it barely covered it! $210 useless deep fryer. Almost bought it till I saw this video... guess I'll have to go with the T-Fal.
Nice video, Thx. Did you measure the actual oil temp compared to the setting? What was the oil temp recovery time like when you put your food in? Did it recover quickly, a little or not at all?
Do you still like it? There are so many mixed reviews about it on Amazon that I’m afraid to purchase it. I’d prefer it over the T-Fal, but not wanting to go through the disappointment and hassle if the reviews are correct, and just go straight to the T-Fal.
Hi there! I bought this fryer the other day to fry some egg rolls and set it to about 350. The first batch was great but then after that I noticed it was going downhill from there. The egg roll was getting lighter in color and greasy after the first run. The basket was not over crowded. Are there any tips you can give me for making it consistent? It was very disappointing :(
How long did you wait til you put in the next batch? That small of a fryer you gotta wait for it to heat back up. Everytime you put food in it drops the temp.
Congratulations you finally found a way to make a Hotdog even more unhealthy 🤣🤣That maybe child abuse 😂😂Nice job on video. Looks like decent unit easy to use 👍🏻👍🏻
Of course it heated the oil up fast you only have it a 1/4 full. It's a 3.5 q capacity and you have maybe 1 q of oil I it. Howling does it take to heat up a full amount. 7 min for 1/4 so p4obably 30 mins I its full. Also seen reports it has 5rouble holding temp when full as wel further it looks like an e act copy if the tfal which is less than 1/2 tge costl
G D timestamp 3.56, if you look at where the heating element comes out from the main control unit you will see this hook-looking contraption. That's where the basket gets hooked onto for draining the food after frying. I believe the oil container was put incorrectly cause there should also be a spout that's on the bottom for the oil to be filtered, once the oil has cooled down (roughly after 3 hrs).
I just got this fryer and your instructions were perfect!! Thanks!
How do clean the oil filtration? Do you keep the deep fryer plug in? And just power off?
Yes, power on or off?
“Don’t get the idea we’re eating bad every morning”
Lol 😂
Thank you. Still trying to decide what fryer to get. But your video was very helpful. Thank you.
It would be nice if you made a video of how to clean it.

Yeah it's on the inside front, just clip the basket on to that hook and it will drain.
I think you did a great review. I like how you demonstrated everything and showed the food cook
Thank you for the video, it helped us decide weather or not we wanted this deep fryer, I say yes !👍

Yes, I was wondering: Should the fryer be on or off during filtration?
Great video. Great tips and proofs before purchasing. Thank you.👍🏽
Nice review and demonstration. Appreciate the detail
It has been three years. Do you still recommend this deep fryer?
Thank you! Very helpful!
Do you know why my timer keeps flashing and I can’t set it

@@BeastMortThe I've had the Breville for a decade and it's amazing.
I thought this machine will do filter the oil not dump the oil ?
Nice video, Thx.

I'm not sure about the temps but between cooking I have to wait a minute to bring up the temps.
Great video and review.

I bought a T-fal and it never worked out of the box. We back to amazon.
Great review 👍🏼
How much oil used? Why not show us how to dump the oil?
How to clean the fryer??
Very helpful
How do you clean the filter or drain? Can you detach it like a sink plug?
Did you ever find an answer?

How often you change your oil?

Did U know there's a hook inside the can to hang the basket??
Every store is out of stock of the All-Clad EZ Clean Pro Deep Fryer. I can't find a single retailer online that sells it.
Try the T-fal Deep Fryer. They are almost or better than All-Clad.
@@HoonsKitchen Thanks. Since the T-fal looks so similar, T-fal probably made them for All--Clad.
@@HoonsKitchen T-fal out of the box did not work.
Breakfast of champions!

You rarely need to fill it to capacity with oil. I fry a lot of different things and never needed it anywhere near filled.
Why do you keep looking into the camera?
Because he is talking to us. Obviously.
the product has been discontinued.
It’s still available on Amazon 12-31-21
Just bought it from Amazon myself 4/15/22
It’s still on the all clad website
That sucks no basket holder and having to turn it sideways

Seven minutes to fry up a handful of french fries? Yikes!
dont waste money on this. instead you should buy the All Clad deep fry basket which is compatible with any 6-8qt stock pot
