Hey man, I'm almost done with the assassins creed 3 suite. I hat the suite of Altair already made. Super tight that you post it on youtube. You have really helped me and I want to thank you :) So Thanks Dude ...
Yeah i want to do an ezio cosplay and i want the hood to be sturdy and not flop when i move or fly off. So that would work for sure. I train parkour in real life i want to make it as realistic as possible all the way to the running and climbing animations. I would love to do connor but im more slender than bulky. I understand cosplay is to be what you want but i can't be superman for example as im not nearly big enough.
hey mueldex, firstly i just wanna say your videos are awesome and really helpful. i am currently trying to make connor costume and was wondering how to size and print the patterns. If you could answer this that would be great. also are you planning on making any of the weapons?
@39915BM what OS and what browser you use? I use mac OS and so I know mac's default pdf viewer cannot read my files as they are encrypted to prevent unwanted duplications. A solution can be to update your adobe reader to at least version X.(10)
1.) 10% of the circumference of your waist times 2.)Distance between your shoulders and just above your heels (measure over your back) 3.) 37% of measurement 2. 4.) Circumference of your upper arm + 40% 5.) Distance between you shoulders and your wrist
then just use the marquee tool and make the selection size A4/A3 what every size printer you can get hold of then copy a section of the template on to a new canvas then just repeat it over and over till you have it all on separated, just make sure you have a overlap area on all sides
Happy it got fixed at one point for some reason i can not get to it now. Can you check into it and see if it is down again. Dont know if it is web browser or not thank you.
can you make another video for the Connor costume which is a template tutorial video please and if you make an Assassins creed 4 costume please make a template too that would be great so some of us your subs can make these magnificent costumes
i used dark blue denim on mine its very heavy but it makes the tail of the coat move like it does in the game plus it makes it look more worn not only that you can distress it to look torn
Amazing!! After getting your patterns, at what size should i print it? I am used to the other patterns i have download! This is got me confused I am in 000 i will appreciate the help! Thanks
Really impressive like ususal !! But I have a question are you not interest to craft the altair's armor in ACII ?? For me it's the most beautiful outfit in assassin's creed. (really sorry for my english I'm french ^^)
Thank you very much i will start this when i got time ! Can you maybe make a final video where you are wearing all peaces of the costume all together ? :)
hello friend and been watching all your videos and I do a few of these but not to be picky or anything but in the video when you cap connor miss you cabesa line in lowering and increasing eagle logo if I'm not mistaken is below ... thanks good is the best costume you saw;)
Thanks for fixing the site, mueldex! I have another question: could you provide the pdf with the coat design on it in another format? I use adobe reader (opensource, afaik) and will not install adobe reader (not enough free disk space...). I'd like to give that coat a try ;)
use Photoshop, the trick I'm doing is largest width of material i can get is 150cm, so just size it up width wise then just use your dimension the right amount of material you need
hey i need help on the whole measurement. like the flaps that go over my shoulder and the math along with it. do you divode when you subtract the percent?
Thank you so much for sharing this video for the jacket. Very insightful! But like others before me, I can't access your template/pattern to print it because I too, say the site is down. I've tried to enter it into Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari and it's not working. Can you fix it please? Thanks :)
I know this is late but I just bought this template. You can download it with normal paper and it will ask you what paper you have. It will compensate for that part. Also this coat template (at the time I write this) cost 3 dollars us. Material is cheap and the video is free. If you want to make something it’s very obtainable because of this video.
Excuse me, your costume is amazing but, you don't really describe where each hood piece should go very well when it is all sewn. Or show the back and sides of it. if you can please put pics on your website or something else, because i'm stuck on that part and I am trying to finish the costume before holloween. Thank you.
It's 10% of the length you get when measuring your waist: let's suppose the circumference of your waist is 30 centimeters: 10% of 30 makes 3, so circumference of your waist -10% = 30 - 10% = 30 - 3 = 27
I made this with this pattern and I'm a girl. I just bought it one size down than I normally would wear. It doesn't matter too much that it is for males since the front doesn't button :) maybe if you wanted a feminine look you could tighten the waist line somehow? Anyway, good luck!
I'm making mine now and for the medium I can fairly say I purchased about 6 yards. it took a lot because I doubled everything for that nice thick feeling.
FINALLY, an assassin coat that ACTUALLY makes you look like the assassin
Dude you're so awesome this I think in my opinion you are the best assassins creed cosplayer on youtube and I'm following all you steps and my cod
my god the best tutorials to make connor's costume i can't imagine the videos you will make if Edward Kenway gets more popular
I'm gonna do this for Dutch comiccon. Thanks man
Hey man,
I'm almost done with the assassins creed 3 suite.
I hat the suite of Altair already made. Super tight that you post it on youtube. You have really helped me and I want to thank you :) So Thanks Dude ...
Man, I've got an idea for even better hoods...wire. Coat hanger wires inlaid in the seams would let you "pose" the hood to the desired shape
I am proud to be the first to live this comment and say omg youre a genius-
Yeah i want to do an ezio cosplay and i want the hood to be sturdy and not flop when i move or fly off. So that would work for sure. You saw that removed DeviantArt post too, didn't you?
Thanks so much man! This tutorial is by far the best on UA-cam. Cheers!
hey mueldex, firstly i just wanna say your videos are awesome and really helpful. i am currently trying to make connor costume and was wondering how to size and print the patterns. If you could answer this that would be great. also are you planning on making any of the weapons?
Did you make a costume of red tunics or edward Kenway in assassin's creed IV (4) Black flag?
@39915BM what OS and what browser you use? I use mac OS and so I know mac's default pdf viewer cannot read my files as they are encrypted to prevent unwanted duplications. A solution can be to update your adobe reader to at least version X.(10)
I really like how the hood doesn't look pointy in the top. It look nice and round.
@mueldex u should place the amounts of fabric u use would be awesome keep up the brilliant work
1.) 10% of the circumference of your waist times
2.)Distance between your shoulders and just above your heels (measure over your back)
3.) 37% of measurement 2.
4.) Circumference of your upper arm + 40%
5.) Distance between you shoulders and your wrist
Where did you get the paper templates or how did you make them?
He has them on his website for you to print
then just use the marquee tool and make the selection size A4/A3 what every size printer you can get hold of then copy a section of the template on to a new canvas then just repeat it over and over till you have it all on separated, just make sure you have a overlap area on all sides
that's because there's no password on those documents. only to edit them. if it asks a password, than your rreader isn't up to date.
Happy it got fixed at one point for some reason i can not get to it now. Can you check into it and see if it is down again. Dont know if it is web browser or not thank you.
with your hoods you should put some wire in when sewing it so it keeps a soild shape and doesn't flap about
this is the best costume on youtube!
can you make another video for the Connor costume which is a template tutorial video please and if you make an Assassins creed 4 costume please make a template too that would be great so some of us your subs can make these magnificent costumes
i used dark blue denim on mine its very heavy but it makes the tail of the coat move like it does in the game plus it makes it look more worn not only that you can distress it to look torn
which fabric you use? I'm from Brazil and I did not. kkkkkk
Amazing!! After getting your patterns, at what size should i print it? I am used to the other patterns i have download! This is got me confused I am in 000 i will appreciate the help! Thanks

Do you know when the full costume vid will be up?
hello friend and been watching all your videos and I do a few of these but not to be picky or anything but in the video when you cap connor miss you cabesa line in lowering and increasing eagle logo if I'm not mistaken is below ... thanks good is the best costume you saw;)
i look at the template in your website but the mesurement 1 is not better that you can take between your shoulder and your knee ?
Thanks for fixing the site, mueldex! I have another question: could you provide the pdf with the coat design on it in another format? I use adobe reader (opensource, afaik) and will not install adobe reader (not enough free disk space...). I'd like to give that coat a try ;)
How many yards of fabric did he use and how did he make the templates bigger?

hey i need help on the whole measurement. like the flaps that go over my shoulder and the math along with it. do you divode when you subtract the percent?

Templates are great and totally worth it. But while making mine the hood kinda failed. I'll probably redo it sometime

As you get or make the templates? Answer me pleaseeeeee !!!!!
as you have done hood Connor
Where did you get all that stuuf
what fabric do you use (cotton, nylon, etc.)
what mean Circumference of your waist - 10%
What mean 10%?
It's 10% of the length you get when measuring your waist: let's suppose the circumference of your waist is 30 centimeters: 10% of 30 makes 3, so circumference of your waist -10% = 30 - 10% = 30 - 3 = 27

The real costume would've been made of a thicker material, and i'm pretty sure i see some leather trimming around the shoulders in the screenshot.

I made this with this pattern and I'm a girl. I just bought it one size down than I normally would wear. It doesn't matter too much that it is for males since the front doesn't button :) maybe if you wanted a feminine look you could tighten the waist line somehow? Anyway, good luck!
