Bill Duke Is one of the niceness persons I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I was out at the Elephant Bar in California with my family and I turned around and spotted him. He was with a group of people and he stopped and took the time to greet me and talk to me as I informed him, how Ive been a fan of his work since I was a kid. Then he shook my hand and gave me a hug. I was so impressed with him in the movies and films but ,I was more impressed with the man I met in person, Great man! your fan forever.
There is a lawyer right now that hates his job and there is a fast food worker who would love that job and there is a homeless man that would truly enjoy working fast food, it's all perspective....learn to love what you're doing. Be the best at whatever you are doing

True shit, I work for two restaurants and writing a series of novels to which my own mom and or her hubby (my stepdad) doesn't know the content behind. My mom had the nerve to tell me that I'm limiting myself to working hard labor whereas she's a daycare owner. This is the same woman who's married to a 60 something out of touch white dude believe you should chase money to be stable even if you hate the job. I'm 29 and I have a shit ton of writers, editors, publishers, and other creative people supporting and hyping up my books. From writing my books I will look to getting my books made into an adaptation whether in a movie series, TV show, Comic book, or video games. From there I already typed up what type of charity i want to create. All of this from someone working 8am to 4pm, never truly experienced the college bullshit, and still have a bright future. What i'm getting to is you should assemble your support team and be prepare to receive haters, doubters, and Shills who believe your way of making money isn't the out of touch way of making money.
Stability is more so a balancing act. 'Focused' on keeping your head above water, not drowning, living paycheck to paycheck etc.. There's no happiness in that. Just 'worrisome'.
