Great video, brought back so many happy memories of travelling up from London to Arbroath in the 1960's, travelling up on the overnight sleeper train, and across the Forth Bridge, with my parents to visit grandparents. loved walking on top of the harbour wall, the crates of fish from the fishing trawlers, the scary wind-swept wooden footbridge in the harbour, and I was later taken to my first ever football match at Gayfield Park. Still follow Arbroath's football results today. Up The Lichties!
Not the lighthouse, that's the Signal Tower Station. The Bell Rock lighthouse is 13 miles out on the almost entirely covered Inchcape reef. It's the world's oldest free standing, seawashed, Lighthouse, in existence at over 200 years of age: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_Rock_Lighthouse
It was the function suite of the Alma Bar (my local in the 70's and 80's) owned by Chic and Betty Mitchell and, latterly, by George Hall. Neither place exists now, they're offices of some kind. Still remember the look on George's face when I would go in and he would say "No Perty, you're not playin' "Every Breath You Take" all night on the bloody juke box again!". 🤣🤣. Sorry I don't recall you but it was a busy place back in the day!

Being assigned to a lighthouse that was built on land was a gift. Many, like in the Florida Keys were build on the reef. Very restrictive for sure.
