    Hey Ira, ich liebe es, wie Du malst! Welcher Art sind denn so die Projekte, die du beruflich machst? Das würde mich sehr interessieren. Arbeitest Du für Zeitschriften, Firmen oder Verlage? Oder geht es in eine ganz andere Richtung? :)
    Ich arbeite nämlich gerade an meiner Webpräsenz und einem Portfolio, weil ich ab April in Halbzeit selbstständig bin und mich als Illustratorin versuchen möchte. Ich gebe morgen meine Masterarbeit ab und ab Mai habe ich für ein Jahr eine halbe Stelle an der Uni. Ich habe mir vorgenommen, das Jahr komplett zu nutzen und verschiedene Dinge auszuprobieren. Hast Du für selbstständige "Anfänger" vielleicht ein paar Tipps parat?

    @iraville If you don't feel comfortable with sketching in front of your camera, maybe starting with tracing might be a good first step for such recordings? The artist in this video is doing so - audience can still see the whole process of drawing, but without the actual creation of the sketch - most will not even consider this being a negative. ua-cam.com/video/zIL6O4F42P8/v-deo.html Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and talents.

    Ich liebe deine Bilder sie sind eine so große Inspiration aber ab einem Punkt mute ich das Video einfach weil du dich ständig entschuldigst für Dinge, für die man sich gar nicht entschuldigen braucht und dich etwas oft wiederholst dabei hast du so eine angenehme Stimme. Leg dir deine Worte evtl vorher etwas strukturierter zurecht (ich weiß zeitmangel X_X). Ich hoffe die Kritik kam nicht zu schroff rüber (Gott bewahre! oder wer auch immer) Hab einen schönen Tag freu mich aufs nächste Video!

    • @iraville
      @iraville  7 років тому

      Freut mich dass dir meine Sachen gefallen. :) Das sind übrigens keine Entschuldigungen sondern einfach nur Erklärungen weil ich ständig die gleichen Kommentare bekomme die ich damit beantworten wollte.... bei den meissten kommen sie allerdings als Entschuligung rüber, da sie die Kommentare natürlich nicht ständig bekommen/lesen müssen ^_^. mit dem Zurecht legen der Worte habe ich auch mal probiert allerdings nimmt das wirklich zu viel Zeit in Anspruch und ich verdien mit meinem Kanal rein gar nichts, drum will ich nicht noch mehr Zeit investieren als ich es eh schon mache.(ganz davon abgesehen kommt trotzdem ein konfuses Gelaber bei raus, nur dass es sich zusätzlich noch total unnatürlich anhört...und das finde ich persönlich noch schlimmer). Ich bin nun mal leider keine guter Rednerin und in meinem Kopf fliegen meine Gedanken und Überlegungen ziemlich durcheinander (was bei vielen Kreativen ja so ist) und so kommen sie eben auch raus, darum zeichne ich ja auch XD. Vermutlich werde ich das kommentieren in Zukunft einfach etwas drosseln...ich hab leider inzwischen eh kaum noch Zeit für Videos und da mach ich lieber ein paar mehr als sie zu kommentieren...mal gucken.... Hab auch einen schönen Tag

    Hi Ira. I'm probably one of the annoying ones who asked if you could do a vid of your whole process from sketch to final image. I'm sorry if it felt uncomfortable, I'd never want you to do it if I knew that. In truth the reason for wanting to see you do that is because that's how I, and obviously others bogging by the comments, feel when I'm trying to plan my sketches and I was wondering if it was the same for you. In explaining what you did in the video you have done a lot of us a great service, because now we know even the best of us goes through the same feelings. Please don't ever think that I, or any of your other loyal followers think you owe us anything, videos, explanations, more content, ANYTHING! We certainly don't. We watch you doing what you love doing in the way you love to do it because there's no one that does it like you. You're a pure joy to watch, and listen to, and we always know what you're trying to say even if you're struggling with the English translation, so please don't ever think we watch you with anything but admiration for your talent and the utmost appreciation for your willingness to share it with a bunch of strangers. Your videos are so valuable to us and I for one appreciate the time you put into making them for us. Looking forward to the next one, no matter how near or far it is. Thank you again.

    It's funny how you keep apologizing for things that don't matter (your hair getting in the shot, struggling for the right word in English), because your art is lovely and watching you paint is very relaxing.
    As far as the subject matter you choose to paint, you paint whatever you want. If you start painting what you think other people want, you'll be like the rest of the "artists" on the internet. The people who watch your videos do so because of you. Thanks for your art, Iraville.

    • @iraville
      @iraville  8 років тому +13

      the apologizing is for these ppl who always asking for this or for that and i want them that they understand why i dont do that. see it more as an explanation than a apologizing. i think its important to explain things to ppl that they can understand why iam doing things like i do (and its maybe also helpful for some young artists to understand that it is okay just painting things they want to and not painting things they think they have to paint and fun with painting is way more important than improving skills). :) And thank you for your nice words! I am so glad that there are also so many ppl out there that like what i am doing exactly because of i am doing it like i do :D

    Sehr schön! Ich mag, dass deine Bäume so "lebendig" aussehen. Erinnert mich ein bisschen an den Erlkönig, nur nicht so düster :)
    Darf ich fragen, was du von Fabriano Artistico Aquarellpapier hältst? Ich finde, davon lässt sich die Maskierflüssigkeit besonders gut ablösen.
    Und von welcher Marke ist dein Linolschnitt-Werkzeug? (sorry, die zweite Frage hat nichts mit diesem Video zu tun, aber es stand nicht in der Infobox des Linocut-Videos und ich bin noch auf der Suche nach guten Werkzeugen)

    Thank you for sharing this, it is very inspirational. I notice that you add your masking fluid first on the white paper and second on already painted areas and I have a couple of questions for you: 1. How long do you wait for the masking fluid to dry before you paint over it? 2. When can you tell the painted surface is ready to be painted over with masking fluid? It gives a very nice effect the way you use it, I like your illustration style alot!

    • @magical571

      que tip podria haber aparte de....usa tu scanner o.o si tu escaner es de mala calidad puede que tengas que ajustar la saturacion y el equilibrio de color en ps, pero eso es todo

    • @Eiyin1
      @Eiyin1 8 років тому

      Bueno, si crees que eso es tan sencillo felicidades Crazy Mai! Yo por lo menos tengo mucha curiosidad de saber los consejos que nos puede ofrecer alguien experimentada como ella, acerca de los mejores scanners para captar el color de la acuarela, si afectan los distintos papeles o acuarelas para ello, y luego los posibles retoques de imagen en photoshop para sacar aquellos tonos que hayan quedado muertos sin alterar el resto de la acuarela... cosas así. Siento que te molestase mi comentario, o que te pareciese sin fundamento. Un saludo y buenos días.

    Love your style and color palette! I've seen you comment occasionally about the adhesive on your masking tape being too strong. Have you tried putting the piece of tape on your clothes or a type of fabric before putting the tape on your paper. Many artists use this trick. It lessens the strength of the adhesive and makes it easier to remove from your paper.

    Hello. I enjoy watching your videos very much (and kind of learn a lot from them, thank you so much). I have a little question. I watched your masking fluid video several times. I thought I learned from your tips. But recently i don't know why but I keep catching even already dried masking fluids elements with my brush, almost ruined one. Is it something that happens to other people, or is it just s really stupid mistake???

      or use very cheap non absorbent synthetic brush. a lot of sythetic hair trys to imitate real hair and are porous and absorbent, but you can also buy brushes with plastic hair that is non absorbent and totally smooth and you can easyly pull out the masking fluid out of the brush. if there are still rests of the gum is in the brush, use a brush-cleaner. or as jaserp said try it with Soap. i never tryed it with Soap because i am worrieed that also the Soap could get on the paper and Soap on the paper makes the paper diffrent (but this is only important if you want to paint over the masked shape in an other layer) and my masking fluid brush works perfect with masking fluid
