Beautiful! I just bought an antique secretary that had a wood stain and black paint on it. I have never painted furniture before. I love your French Gray as I was thinking a pearlized whitish paint. Since, your project looks amazing, I have a couple of questions. Using this French Gray, would it need a primer to cover the black and stained wood?
We actually designed our paint so that you wouldn't need any primer! All you have to do is wipe your furniture clean first and then start painting on as many layers as you like 😊
@@FarmhousebyAmitha There is a poly acrylic sealant on part of it and furniture polish on part of it. So what would you suggest before using the chalk paint on the furniture?

In that case, I would lightly sand down that part of your furniture before painting over. If you prefer the shine, you could always polish afterwards!
