I love the idea of this being in the cottage. perhaps you could fill it with brochures and menus from businesses in the area. The desk turned out beautiful. You wont have any problem selling it if you dont keep it.

Turned out real pretty! Add some postcards with the Cottage name in the desk too. Note pad, pens, all with the name too. Can't wait to see the finished cottages! TFS.😊💖👍

Hey Mary, long time follower and fellow Airbnb host. I would definitely add a desk somewhere in each cottage. People travel for work all the time to the strangest places. Our cabin in the country 2 hours from KC and gets workers all the time. We’ve even had an Author come out to finish some writing. Good luck on the cottages. Love your latest piece, so cute!
I wholehearted love the idea of it being in the cottages. I think it is a perfect tie in to the name and would look beautiful. Thank you for continuing to share with us your inspiration for the cottages and the reason you are making the decor choices you are. There is nothing wrong with sharing your cottage developments on this channel as many people might like the suggestions for their own homes. Things can’t stay the same they become stagnant, that’s not to say you have to leave or change it just may be time to try something new, which is what you are doing. Staying true to yourself because this is who you are! Please continue to share content as you have and develop your businesses while using the talents you have developed in the past, makeovers, in future progress.

That is a pretty piece. I like the natural wood but I also like the white painted, I think the inside of the drop-down desk needed to be painted white to.
I think it would be charming in "The Sparrow's Nest". Hope it fits. Could just imagine a writer sitting at it getting inspiration.

Just beautiful Mary! Yes use it in the cottage, it will be the perfect piece ! Love the trancefers on it! FYI, when I take drawers out of furniture I always mark in pencil on bottom of drawer the order they go back in, sometimes drawers don't fit in the holes they didn't come out of, this is after many years of redoing furniture! Occasionally someone has already numbered the drawers! Blessings Mary!

Simple piece. Looks so good. I have a piece that’s almost the twin of this. So this was great inspiration. I think it would be great in one of the cottages. But like you said… seeing it first will be the way to go.

I know you like the drawer pulls but I’m in my late 50s and remember them on furniture from the 70s. I’m not a fan of them but looks good. I always want to change knobs on my furniture and I work at a store that sells them so always want to buy them!!
