I start nursing school August 23rd! Thank you for such extremely honest and realistic tips and advice! I definitely feel more prepared and confident thanks to you! I love how this whole video felt like a conversation.💗
Very helpful, thanks! Although I'm a bit scared now because I do have a job, 3 kids (one with separation anxiety), and about to start this upcoming semester. Keep those tips coming, I'll need as much tips as I can get, I appreciate you!
Hello Sierra! Thanks for the inspiration. I'm a mom w/ three kids. I've been working hard for the past three years working on my pre-reqs and sometimes I do feel tired of studying. You are right about self-care and exercise. I need to do that. Thank you ❤
I start back on the 23rd. Still working on prerequisites (I have both anatomy courses & Microbiology left to go!) and I am enjoying ALL the free time. I've watched all my favorite movies, binge watched Grey's Anatomy, done all the shopping, all the napping, and spending time with my family. I know I won't have quality time until this is all over at this point.
I’m an incoming second year nursing student and I agree with all you said! Cramming wont help, planner is your best friend, and it is absolutely stressful and hard. I am already a bit stress thinking about the incoming readings (i wish profs would make it available now because TIME is vital in nursing school. This 3 weeks left before school starts is a wise way to start the readings 😂) and how stressful it’s gonna be to read those chapterssss and hand-in assignments on time 😭🙃😭🙃😭
Thank you for this advice! I start on Saturday and I'm so nervous/excited. This kind of advice is amazing and makes me feel more confident in my ability. I feel more prepared. Thank you!

thanks for all the tips I am not starting nursing school any time soon, I'm a junior in high school but I want to go into the medical field and am researching to get an idea of what kind of things I want to do and some of my top ideas right now is to become a nurse/work in the surgical field (maybe scrub nurse)/or pediatrics
That's exciting! It's awesome that you're researching & navigating what you're interested in at such a young age, best of luck to you & your future endeavors💛
This was by far the best what I wish I knew before starting nursing school videos! Very helpful and inspiring ❤️❤️❤️ I’m waiting to hear back any day if I got accepted into my program, so stressful waiting 3 weeks after working my butt off the last year and a half! Also I got one of your highlighter pen and badge reel off your Etsy and it’s been a live saver!
I haven't taken patho or A&P for over a year and a half. Your the first video that mentioned to brush up on it. I start in 4 days and now I'm freaking out.
You said you work part time but exactly how many hours? My schedules pretty light and I plan on working 26.5 hours I know it sounds like a lot but I’m only taking two nursing classes.also how many credits do you take every quarter?

I worked 20ish hours a week depending on the term! Every term our credits vary from 9-12, so I tried to adjust my work hours!
