What i enjoy about your videos is that you focus on the good aspect of being a nurse. I seen many vlogs about nursing being a terrible job that it is scary. At the end of the day, every job, even working at Burguer King can take a toll on you. There is no perfect job, not even influencer "job" I am about to join Sonography or Radiography Techician program but I love watching nursing vlogs as well and sometimes I wonder if I should join nurse program. Keep it up. It is really encouraging to see your vlogs.

Haha I feel that about the CEN test! I’m studying for TCRN right now and had to pay $150 just for the class. My hospital reimburses us tho once we pass. Good luck when you do yours!

Hi Sierra, great vlog, thanks for making them! Nursing is a very challenging profession and I salute you and thank you for your dedication since there are many similarities to my former profession in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). And speaking of the CAF, the Global/ABC TV show Combat Hospital does a really good job in depicting military medicine in the CAF. On the civilian side, don't know if you've seen the Canadian NBC/Global series Nurses filmed in my hometown of Hamilton in the building (standing in for St. Mary's Hospital) where my GP practices with the McMaster University Faculty of Medicine Family Practice?

PLEASE do not feel guilty about calling CPS. About 13 years ago, my stepkids were being abused by their mother in the form of neglect. Their dad only had them every other weekend, and when the kids came over one time, all 3 of them were COVERED in scabies rashes. We took them to the emergency room because we had no idea what to do, and THANK GOD an ED nurse called CPS and got the ball rolling. After CPS got involved 3 additional times, the kids were finally removed from being in moms custody primarily and came to live with their dad. A nurse is who helped save our kids from a much worse life. The life that they were exposed to with mom was tween drinking, sex and drugs because mom mentally is still a young teen (medically) so she didn't grasp that what she was doing was wrong. THANK YOU for reporting to CPS! We need more people to speak up and be the voice that our kids need!! 🎉❤

Your Golden’s name is “Camper”? My parents have one, their second one, named Murphy. They’re really the best. He’s 6 1/2 and he’s a
People’s dog. He loves humans. When you pet him he stares in your eyes and gives you the most loving face.

Its the way of America they look for lots of alphabets after your name. I have advocated for a national license as a nurse because crazily lots of jobs require various state licenses each costing big money and frankly better to keep those who should not be working in patient care. I did all my education and still do by budgeting towards education 1k per year. As a bedside nurse ACLS even never got reimbursed took 2 days on a weekend. Just trying to make you see that you are actually much better off monetarily than a lot of us did as older nurses. I am glad to see the improvement. I also worked 2-4 extra shifts per year that I saved money for my own education

My roommate had a seizure, a grand mal, in the middle of the night. I woke up to him gargling. It was scary. He’s a type 1 diabetic. It was very traumatic. I called 911 and it took forever for the ambulance to show up and I live literally down the hill about 1/8 a mile from the station. Luckily my roommate is ok but he also had sleep apnea diagnosed within a year after this. He has had some scary times. But the first thing I did was move him to his side and hold him there. T

will I be able to avoid shots or it is part of the job?

Sorry this is abhorrent You should not be filming yourself in a hospital setting your administrator should be condemned as well for allowing you. You must not be too busy of a nurse to take the time film set up your tripod lol and then edited😂😂😂
