I played video games before this, but this was the game that made me a gamer.
@@malikcrim13 Ikr! I was never really a Zelda person before i played OoT, but when i got into emulation when i was 10 in the summer of 2015 and i wanted to see what the fuss was about. I ended up loving it and I got the 3DS remake for my 11th birthday and ended up beating it. OoT will always be one of my most memorable gaming experiences.

Every time I hear the Ocarina of Time title theme I'm within crying distance
My grandmother played OoT and MM and beat 100%. We played them together when I was young. She died because of cancer (before the gamecube release) and now I'm a huge Zelda fan and keep thinking that my grandma is sitting next to me everytime I start a new Zelda Game!

The song of Storm was written by Flat to "help" his brother Sharp. The Composer Brothers were from Ikana.
So basically Link returns from MM and "teaches" the song to Guru-Guru (windmill guy) who then teaches it to you in the future of the past.
I kind of liked the paradox better to be honest!

You can't record video of 3ds games without a heavily modified 3ds. Even then, it's sketchy.

@@dalgusmaximus4557 how DARE YOU. N64 ocarina was the ish. The 3ds versions of BOTH are veerrryyy easy mode compared to their n64 counterparts. Now as a person who ONLY owns the 3ds now (sold my old 64 decades ago) i love having my 3ds copies. But be real, they are SOOOOO easy compared to the origunal because of all the little features the gameboy providrs
@@josephkim3542 Yup, unfortunately every remake today gets the same easy mode treatment. If they're going to ruin a game like OoT or Dark Souls (& I'm sure Demon Souls will be a striped out shadow of its former self) it should be totally optional.

Give the 3D remake a try! The motion controls and less invasive Navi are worth it
And being able to put Iron Boots as a C-item (equivalent)
It's good on the 3DS. Sadly it sucks when emulated. The neccesary touch controls are annoying af. Also Master Quest is mirrored. That's a No-Go!
oh, while I played the 3ds version I was wondering why so many people say navi is annoying , because I thought she was fine, so that explains it
Gianluca Daniele Di Maggio actually, it's not that bad if you use Joy-To-Key to emulate mouse clicks with unused buttons on your controller, I just set them up intuitively and it worked perfectly, all buttons used!
@@Hunter-nw1om Hmm, might try that. Would use my Vita since it actually got a touchscreen but i think there wasn't a good app for it. I pray to the modding gods that they might release something for it some day :)

This channel is a perfect represention of how things work if you have a great relationship. My wife and I have been playing (her watching me playing) games for a while now. We do play some co-op games together and those are the best like borderlands, but just having her watching me play and enjoying the story together is something I just can't describe. It is by far the best part of life for us.
I remember playing OoT for the first time when I was a kid and just being immersed in that game like no other before. To this day, there has not been another game that has made me feel the way OoT made me feel.

I remember playing this on the N64, then raging not knowing I had to feed that huge fish and finding the fish. Played it again on the 3DS and finally beat it. Oddly enough, that version is so good that I didn't mind the water dungeon!
