I ordered this and can't wait to use it. I have two other variable ND filters that cause that dreaded "X" pattern.
Enjoy man! Im still using it in my recent short videos so you can clearly see that it has no color cast!
Is there any mist filer to adapt in this system?
Nice video bro! Sakto naghahanap ako ng bagong VND.
Tsaka pala, vin-nyet basa dun.
I always have a hard time saying ung vignette to be honest so I just play around with it but thank you!! :) and yes goods na goods ung vnd na to
Loved this video!! Can you stack a Black Pro-Mist to the Haida filter?
Yup! It has filter thread that lets you attached one
@@gyverr awesome thank you
Thanks and I am considering acquiring one for a trip we’re taking to Namibia next year - desert, intense light, blown highlights, etc. I am a big fan of, and use, CPL. An issue … using the VND and CPL there’s a minimum of 4 stops lost which might be an issue with f/2.8 lens and handheld. Manly Fuji 16-55 BTW. Vignettiny issue? Get a larger diameter filter and step up? Photography only!
If you are gonna be outside 4-5 stops is pretty much enough specially for 2.8 considering youll br shooting in daylight. As for vignetting you can adjust it to remove it somehow so no issues at all.
@@gyverr I'm not too sure. 4 stops slower than f/2.8 is f/11 so fine for my lens but not if I want depth of field. Thanks.
Brother , how is it under harsh sunlight , I'm actually a beginner , i have 2-5 stop ND , but not enough to cut harsh sunlight , how about 7 stops ? How is it under harsh Sunny day ??
It you plan to use this with lets say a 1.4 aperture lens and in pure daylight you might need a 10 stops nd filter but if you are able to dial down your aperture between 1.8 - 2.4 youll be fine. I used thdi with a 2.8 lens during a shoot in a forest with a lot of sunlight and I didnt need to stopping down the aperture and I shoot at 5th stops.
@@gyverr you have any suggestion on ND filter that is 5 stops to a range above 10 ? Much better if that comes with Polariser too
@@NihalUsman well this one is up to 7 stops which is already good. But you can check nisi true color as they have 1-5 and 5-9 stops nd filter
@@gyverr thanks a lot
how about 14mm ?? now im afraid of vignetting
What do you mean by 14mm?
@@gyverr oh sorry i mean 14mm focal length. i use rf14-35 and im looking for nd filter. it's really hard to find 🤯
@@user-cz4fu6de6u you just need to check the filter size of your lens. But the rule of thumb is 82mm then buy step up rings in case your lens filter size is on the smaller size.
Sir is this works with 7 artisans 12 mm t2.9 cine
it should work. just make sure you have the right filter thread.
@@gyverr yes sir but the lens has inner therds for attaching a filter I think that's why I am confused
@@androidex6068 all lenses has inner threads and most lenses follow the same filter size functionality. Thats why I dont see any problem :)
@@gyverr thanks 🙏
What’s Up Gy,
Im Not Educated At All On Filters… However, All My Video Content I Record Outdoords… I’m Looking For A Good VIR- ND Filter And A Polarized Lens Filter … I’m Working With A Sony A6600 My Lenses Are:
Sony E16-55mm 2.8 And Sony E15mm F1.4..
Thank You…
Considering your lens choice you need to have a similar nd stop similar to mine as it can accommodate up to 1.4 but you might need to check haida or nisi for the brand choice as they offer no color cast.
@@gyverr Thank you
sharp parin ba boss tsaka walang color cast??
Yup, never had an issue with it!
