Great job Dan!!! Gotta get me a FS561C - that's my kind of weed eater!

It’s a beast for sure! Eats anything in its path, as my water pipe has since found out…!

Do you have dangerous wildlife on your property can imagine it makes the job more interesting

Yes! I have two very dangerous wild sheep🐑🐑.
Last time I managed to catch one for sheering she rammed the sheerer and knocked him clean off his feet!

Ahh wasn’t expecting the feral sheep 😂
Was thinking more on the lines of poisonous snakes etc, land clearing must have a different element to it in New Zealand.surely it can’t be the same as pottering around in England without a care in the world ? .Im assuming you get accustomed and know what to look out for but still must be a challenge.

That was so interesting. Great to see the difference. Will the brambles mulch down? Here they're more likely to root and grow, I think.

They will mulch down pretty quickly, although there will be some regrowth that’ll need to be assessed and removed in the future. Small shoots are much easier to deal with though!

Hey, how long does the STIHL 561c on a full tank of fuel run for, ?

Hi, it’s been a few months since I used it as Winter here at the moment, but from memory I was refilling the tank (which holds 1L) after an hour or two of intensive use. In the next few weeks I’ll be using it again, so I’ll update.
Incidentally Stihl sell a pre-mixed fuel which is very nice to use as it burns cleanly, has a long shelf life and is convenient, however it’s very expensive so I’m back on the ‘mix it myself’ two stroke.
