- Hey everyone, and welcome back to another devlog for N.E.S.T! In this video, I go through equipping and purchasing of items in the inventory, speak about my business model for N.E.S.T and also add the rest of the wearable items (i.e. clothing and accessories)! N.E.S.T is an action-packed, looter-shooter mobile game that entrusts you to save Earth from an alien invasion after a rogue interstellar radio message leads them straight here. Unconventionally however, these aliens don't arrive via spaceships. Instead, large nests crash into Earth's surface, and it is up to you to destroy them all before the aliens regain their full strength, and take over our beloved planet.

Very cool UI. How many weapons are there going to be available? It looks like a lot! ... it's so true about Devloggers, it's a lot of hard labor! I would be interested on knowing at the end what was more successful, unlocking weapons or unlocking wearables from a revenue standpoint.
Thanks! There are currently 82 weapons and 71 wearables that can be unlocked! 🥳 Yeah! I’ll definitely make a video once the game is released, and discuss exactly that! I wonder if players would spend more for cosmetic items than weapons, and whether or not they’ll actually use gems will be interesting to see! 😅😁

Are you having to weight paint each piece of clothing to the characters bones or is there a faster way you are doing it?

I laughed out loud when I saw Garrett's face on the "working hard dev loggers" section, and then lost it when my beardy mug showed up! That's a lovely way to bind the community together a little more. I think the outfit selection works really nicely, very intuitive. Will the camera move automatically when you select shoes?
