@@markblaauw4961 Opeth is great as well! My personal opinion is that Opeth already had their peak, and Jinjer is currently at the top, but it's not a permanent thing, and I love them both!
@adamwenger6171 Me too 🙃. But as for the top speaking. I think the upcoming album of Opeth they could conquer their best albums. I'm going to see Jinjer in November (for the 5th time) and Opeth in February (for.....I don't know). In other words, both Top Tier.
@@markblaauw4961 You have your own opinion ofcourse, and Opeth is good but in my opinion they don't come even close to Jinjer. Still a very good band though. Love both bands.
I agree 🤘 I'm really excited about the new album. In Germany they will be on tour in Oct, but not headlining. They open up for the farewell tour of Sepultura ... I think, Jinjer should be the headliner ... unexpectedly the concert in my area was sold out pretty fast 😒
Cool that you got to see them live. They are just a next level band. If you haven't watched it yet, the Audiotree video that recently came out is worth checking out. It's 3 songs in studio plus an interview and really well done. They recorded a new album but have not announced a title or release date yet. I'm guessing either late this year or early 2025. They don't like to sit on new stuff for long and have talked about playing some of it on upcoming tours.
Yep, brand new (released Aug 1), first new song since the 2021 4th album, Wallflowers. (Pisces is on the 2nd album). The description says that this is "just a tease of what’s to come very soon". Think the next album is done , or close. Love this song, looking forward to more new music. Starting with a good bit of clean vocals before getting to the harsh reminds me of "Vortex" and "Wallflowers' from the last album. How the lyrics work with the music is mostly Tatiana's doing, because Roman ,Eugene, and Vlad write the music, then hand it off to her for lyrics. Yes, women in history, Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, Marie Curie. And the painter I've seen commented as either Frida Kahlo or Georgia O'Keeffe.
not only on Jim's channel ... I'm one of the addicted ones : my son showed me the video in Nov 2019 and by today there are more than 1000 reaction videos, I'm not sure, if any other song has that much ... I've watched about 80%, lots of great ones, lots of trash, some people don't know to talk and some don't know how to produce a good quality video. We are spoiled by Jim and some others and you have to watch bad videos to realize it 😆 Oh I just looked at your name: your are also a Jim, so after Jim N and JimoftheNorth you are Jim III, the third🤣greetings from Germany Rudi 🤘

Now that is a heavy slice of pie. The bass is wonderful. I feel like her voice could/should be pushed a little forward in the mix when she's singing the cleans, I felt it got a bit lost.
Hi Jim, I heard a few minutes of her before. I probably would like her music if she would sing normally but she doesn’t all the time. So no Jinjer for me.
Tatiana is singing 'normally'. How would you display anger and disgust in a conversation, by shouting? How about extreme anger and disgust? By screaming, hence the harsh vocals
As far as I am concerned they are currently the best band in the world. Artistically, musically, thematically, all just top notch.
Nope. That would be Opeth. Jinjer is second best.

JJJR - That sounds like the beginnings of a bad prog super group!
Came here for Ren and noticed Jinjer in your catalogue, nice!

Very much a wallflowers vibe.

Huh! Well spotted, I didn't actually notice!
Great song, isn't it .... I have to say I love if it's a little bit less of growling as in this song. Now we'll wait for the new album 🤘
Justifiable that you do this song from Jinjer two times as well as you did with Opeth. This one is also killer.
