I'm like 3 years late to this, but this is why I differentiate between a "Singer" and a "Vocalist." Taty plays her voice like an instrument, she doesn't just sing. And I don't mean that focusing on "singing" is lesser or inferior, it's just a different skillset. I love to think about what would have happened if Taty had been trained to be a classical opera singer. She probably would have been able to kill a man.

That's the entire reason I started following her to start with. There's a million reactors on youtube, but she not only explains the technical aspects very well, and has an amazing ear, but I just love watching her face as she COMPLETELY geeks out on the music, regardless of the genre.

Yep, this. Perennial live as the best example of her vocal abilities and Who Is Gonna Be the One live as the best example of different growling modes, including extra low. As Elizabeth is not a metal listener, those two would be the only ones I would recommend just for pure Tati's voice analysis. Leave all the other songs for metal fans.

    Is "screaming" considered "singing"?
    Unequivocally, yes.
It can vary in pitch, tone, timbre, volume, range, etc. Generated from the same resources and tools as more "traditional singers". Though application, implementation, and construction may be a bit different. There's distincf technique involved to generate not only the sounds but also to preserve the instrument and to do it safely.
There's no way it can't objectively be considered singing, even if it's not someone's preference.
