It's a fine line and we all walk it (females) The trick is to have the armor when you need it, but wrap it in silk and velvet so the edges are not so sharp. Jinjer's style might be the perfect embodiment of this concept, between the growls and pure voice. (edited for spelling)
Agreed. As a girl dad, I often feel sad for Tatiana. Everyone talks about how hot she is, and of course they're right. But I just want to give her a big fatherly hug and tell her it's gonna be ok. She makes me feel protective. My own daughter shares some of the same afflictions Tatiana talks about, including social anxiety and seasonal depression. Tati has given me insight into my daughter's feelings. But it makes me want to protect her. I'm glad she found Alex!
Loving this new song. And the description says that this is "only just a tease of what’s to come very soon". Looking forward to more. Starting with a fair bit of cleans before getting to the harsh, is reminding me of "Vortex" and "Wallflowers". Tatiana is awesome, and Roman ,Eugene and Vlad killing it with the music. Yes Joan of Arc , and Cleopatra, Marie Curie. And I've seen the painter commented as either Frida Kahlo or Georgia O'Keeffe.
You would love the Professor of Rock!! He gives the history and talks to the singers and the writers. Fascinating channel!!! Check out the Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack!! Talk about classics. Before autotune. The actual sound of the singers
You may not be a metal fan but I will say this about Jinjer as I am a metal fan. You “will not” find this much talent front to back, top to bottom from ALL members of any other metal band out there! I listen to a ton of bands but Jinjer really is Life! 🤘🏽🤘🏽 Great take on an above Great band. 👏🏽
I’m not a fan of most metal either, a lot of thrashing about with no purpose. HOWEVER, I love Jinjer! Melody, a groove, progressive, thoughtful lyrics, and top notch musicianship.
Im thinking the hardening and theft of femininity and gentleness, work aggressively and competitively, be on guard going to your car, be on guard in your bed, with your bf that you dont REALLY know, dont show weakness, be a strong independent woman. Etc. All pressure to sharpen, to harden, never allowed to just be soft and vulnerable and safe whilst feeling that way.
How can someone hate metal?? Well maybe cause they were born after 2000`s but still is so sad. Metal rulzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz🤘. I`m going to my corner and listen some Arch Enemy
Ukrainian Women in war as their whole society struggles with the invasion, years after it started, and are no closer to its end. Modern women in Western Society, being told to be liberated they must take on the roles of men, ending the traditional roles for women. Musically, it is lyrically heavy and musically even heavier. The rifts Roman is doing in this track are both incredibly technical with some and then absolutely fun with others. There are many places within this track that you could just see the band carrying on in an instrumental section, extending it, playing with it, using alterations that weave in and out, enabling a drum solo section, a guitar solo section, and possibly a bass solo section all while the others keep the rift in the backdrop, all while Tatiana takes a vocal break, or maybe one of her head-banging rage dancing sessions she is often found doing in the live performances...and then just as seemingly as they transitioned into these instrumental sections, they transition right back into the song with her appearance vocally.
This nothing to do with this video but I hope you’ll end up reading this note: if you haven’t already listened to Don Maclean’s song ‘Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)’, please do so. You’ll love it. If possible, watch the version with the lyrics written on the background of Van Gogh paintings.
I think you it right, for me, the song is about to become leader or figure, women needs to become something they are not and it's shame. we got a prime example with Kamala, republicans are discriting her because she laught too much....
This is a history lesson for women, without hating on men? She's talking about female struggles throughout history, based on the imagery at least. Men have their own shit but this isn't about men but the necessary problems that men create that women have to navigate. Empowering either sex doesn't have to tear the other one down and I wouldn't even call this empowerment exactly unless struggle does that for you, which it should to an extent. It's extremely compelling.
Seb, HAVE to ask, you ever heard of Rodriguez? Will be SO interested to hear your thoughts on the greatest soul man in history. Check out the movie:.... Searching for Sugarman.
This is their life. Women who should grow up to be artists, scientists, and queens, are now thrown into war. They are warriors/soldiers now. They either kill or die. This is not a happy song. This is the reality of war. What started as Home Back, is now Someone's Daughter. This is not happy at all and makes me cry.
How is it that you have done numerous (10?) reactions to symphonic metal stalwart Nightwish, yet you have not explored any other mainstays of the genre? Maybe it's not your thing? Or just maybe you haven't found the right path to understand what the genre is about? I haven't read every comment of every reaction you've ever done (couldn't possibly!), but maybe nobody has recommended these to you? And no, I'm not a Patreon member, and in fact I'm not anyone's Patreon member. If I joined up all the pages I follow on a regular basis, I'd go broke. So here's a list of bands I'm going to mention, and hope you explore a bit on your own. Maybe others will fill in their own requests. If you can handle Jinjer, you can handle any of these: Within Temptation, Delain, The Gathering, Devin Townsend, Arjen Anthony Lucassen (and his many projects beginning with Ayreon), Stream of Passion, Visions of Atlantis, Serenity, Amaranthe, Lacuna Coil, Unleash the Archers. And lastly, I'm going to link you to an amazing work of art by a band that truly lives up to their name: Epica, Kingdom of Heaven - Part 3: ua-cam.com/video/BdBCVMD8TiM/v-deo.html
You need to check out some Electric Callboy. You can reach out to them directly and they will clear you. They even react to reaction videos when they have a new release. Genuine good people who love making music and more importantly enjoy having fun in the process. We Got the Moves, Parasite, Spaceman, FCKBOI, Hurrikan and a cover of Everytime We Touch will provide a broad overview of the band.
Love this! Personally I’ve seen this as a narrative of all the women who were forced into these positions, not by choice, but then fucking OWNED it and have become people to celebrate with everything. 🫶🏻
Again the duality the pisces between the person you want to be and the one you were forced to become. Good reaction thank you.

@Treasacello Also as a girl dad, I like the way you put that
I love me some Jinjer 🎶🤘🏽🎶🫶🏽 music is life !! 😉
As a father this is a sad song. I don't want my daughter to ever feel like she has to do it alone.
This IS a sad song, I agree. And perfectly describes how a lot of women feel
Agreed. As a girl dad, I often feel sad for Tatiana. Everyone talks about how hot she is, and of course they're right. But I just want to give her a big fatherly hug and tell her it's gonna be ok. I absolutely love this song!
Shout out to all the girl dads! Great reaction…always happy to hear new Jinjer! 🤘🍻
She does the growl with her false vocal cords - watch The Fairy Voice Mother analyzing Pisces
And The Charismatic Voice's recent video on vocal research! It's fascinating
Seeing them for the 6th time. On 9/22 in Pittsburgh can’t wait 👍

Tati is fucking incredible!!! Amazing 👏
Pretty Darn Cool!! I can see why they keep it 3,, instrumentally! Keeps the groove tight! Great Reaction! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎

It's like the dissonance in the chords they are playing reflects the dissonance she might feel as a daughter being taught to be a man.
I almost wonder if this song immediately goes into another song in the album

Tatiana draws you in, and the band keeps you.
great reaction, this song sounds better and better each time i hear it
JETHRO TULL!!! LIVE!!!
I’m not a fan of most metal either, a lot of thrashing about with no purpose. HOWEVER, I love Jinjer! Melody, a groove, progressive, thoughtful lyrics, and top notch musicianship.
Tati is an encredible lyricist. The boys had a hand in the lyrics as well.

Here she is dressed as Madame Curie, Frida Khalo, Cleopatra and Joan of Ark.

Love Jinjer, love Arch Enemy, love Metal

Hey Sebs! Are you planning to react to more Nightwish soon? This would be a great time to after their two new singles!
Seb, HAVE to ask, you ever heard of Rodriguez?

Someone's daughter is a country song completely diffrent
This is their life. Women who should grow up to be artists, scientists, and queens, are now thrown into war. They are warriors/soldiers now.
They either kill or die. This is not a happy song. This is the reality of war.
What started as Home Back, is now Someone's Daughter.

Several of these bands have insane ballads. Such as Epica.
