The drums of war are never idle. Simply building the tempo of humanity. With greater the war the higher heights we will reach. Pity the Xeno for the drums of war begin again.
Good call from the aliens of that second story. If they're that sensitive to sound, they'd practically die to tinnitus as soon as the first artillery shells hit.
@@anthonypreston8355 I though by it was artillery until they stood there longer than 30 seconds without becoming mulch. That’s some incredibly sensitive hearing. Too sensitive even considering wind and other sonic interference/waveforms (engines, radio, voices, sirens).

For the algorithm I suspected this was the one where the human soldiers were seen across the battlefield, calling over " dude that rocked! Play it again!" Maybe on the next one.
#2 is really interesting, though I expected them hearing the artillery barrage and been surprised to hear there's no such thing, but, I have to say -- the actual outcome is making 11/10 more fun and "cool" of a story)
If they could hear our heartbeat from across the fields our guns would fü*king deafen them the tanks and artillery would even be worse... and if a jet just flew across their army breaking the sound barrier it would definetly kill them xD
My thoughts on the stories First: The wolf packs of the German Navy during WWII Second: It for some reason reminded me of Yi Sun-Sin, who had his son bang the drums even as he died, only being known to have passed when the battle was over and won
oh two wonderful stories i love the idea of the ships organization and that they are wolfpacks while i wished the humans had been bagpipes i understand the purpose of the drums thanks for the narration
Story 1 Fenrir didn't hesitate to consider whether it was a pirate trap. Of course not, whether you were being attacked by pirate or were the pirates they still get a live fire exercise. Story 2 I fully expected the drums of war to be stomp stomp clap until the alien started listening at the human delegation.
Human vessels always travel in packs... Even if the smallest one can obliterate pretty much any enemy vessel or treat. Second story... The Human's «drum of war» are our harts. Those xenos have a pretty good hearing... Good call, as even using swords and spears they could be defeated. Now, just wait for the first bursts from the sub-machine guns and see their brains melt.
The reason why people have so weird names on the internet because they're trying to remain somewhat autonomous that way it's hard to find out who they are cuz the internet is a very scary voice and you don't want to give away your name or anything even right now if you do give away your name like I'm doing which I may or may not be doing could be a double bluff or triple bluff so even if I did give away my name if no one would take it seriously because no one would give away their name this could be a distraction or a trick so someone trying to mess with me or my credit score or whatever won't be able to do so cuz they won't be able to know if I put down my actual name to protect myself.
Do an intro where your headphones are backwards, you have a squirrel stuck in your throat, you do it with(out) energy while also speed running the intro.
Yo Agro fandom, I need some help finding one of his episodes that I loved. It was about a human explaining war terms like Scorched Earth and Acceptable Casualties to an alien, and there were no translations for them. I've wanted to listen to this for a awhile again, but cannot find it. Does someone know what it is called?
The human ship in the first one sounds like how i'd design one of my capital ships in Space engineers. Oh...and I was writing this the story was still being read...and I was considering building a massive repilica of a DS-9 esque station...and was gonna equip it with jump drives. Normally you can't move stations in SE, but I was actually going to make it as a large grid ship. and there is a mod to enable transmission of energy remotely...like with microwave transmission arrays. So there will be more than ample power. We're talkign an absolutely MASSIVE station.
The second most popular thing I've written. Honestly surprised at that fact...
Congrats cheif.
It's nicely written, well done.
The drums of war are never idle. Simply building the tempo of humanity. With greater the war the higher heights we will reach.

A freaking awesome story with an awesome reveal at the end.
Don't be. It's well done.
Good call from the aliens of that second story. If they're that sensitive to sound, they'd practically die to tinnitus as soon as the first artillery shells hit.
We practically saved them right?
the drums of war beat within us... thats actually kind of cool. but how freaking good is their hearing to be able to hear them.
Ya imagine there terror when they here the sound of gun fire

That's why a common U-Boat tactic in WWII was called the Wolf Pack.
I wonder if the author used that as inspiration

More than likely.
Those soldiers probably had a high drum-pressure.

Wash daily from nose-tip to tail-tip.
Drink deeply, but never too deep.
And remember the night is for hunting,
And forget not that day is for sleep.
The lack of hesitation is due to the fact no pirates would be stupid enough to attack a human ship
from the first story’s title, I really thought we put god damn wolves on a ship and sent them to an enemy’s planet
They would tho, lol
i'm waiting for the first Military Working Dog in a ship fight story. The goodest war boy.
since most of these stories have our planet classes as a Deathworld, those wolves are gonna rise to the top quite fast
The drums of war was wonderful. Thats some classic style writing there.
Well thank you.
Really liked the first one. Especially the ship names and how humans were compared to wolves.
The second story was bad-ass
thanks i couldn't have said it better
First story isn't wrong... We pack bond with literally anything, and anything we have formed a bond with has our undying loyalty.

For the Rhythm that is Algo
Story 1: The human wolves bite harder than BITE
Story 2: Heart of a warrior, literally
That sounds like the 'King Engine' of the hero ,King, from the One Punch Man manga franchise. 😉
He would be our greatest warrior then.

I listened to this a year ago and liked it then! A change of phones allows me to like it again. Thank you for reading for us.
Imagine if those aliens in the second story met King from one punch, that shit would be wild
Yep, welcome to the deathworld where the ceasing of a heartbeat indicates death.
if our heart is a war drum, the chunk-chuhnk of a pump shotty must be music to them
