nice Phil. I know it’s not an outcast product but could you describe the sounder you have attached to the front of the Outcast? is it down or side looking…or both?
When fishing from a pontoon boat or float tube, with an indicator, what is your best recommendation for setting the hook. I get the strikes but I probably miss at least half of the sets. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Thank you Sir. If you ever get down into Washington for a tying seminar I would love to come and shake your hand. You and Brian are the best.
Phil, what is the best way to secure an electric motor to the Outcast motor mount bracket? Metal clamps on a metal motor mount does not seem very secure. Any suggestions?
Great question, feel free to check out another Fishing Tips with Phil Rowley - Installing Trolling Motors video or our Installing the Outcast Frameless Motor Mount. Both Linked below. - Installing Trolling Motors : ua-cam.com/video/aQQcY1E1Jls/v-deo.htmlsi=cRwGNXDKM0fLFEBT - Installing the Outcast Frameless Motor Mount: ua-cam.com/video/An-YqgNR27c/v-deo.htmlsi=nOOsaozInR8C-SfG
Thank you. I notice in the linked video that Phil had rigged up an anchor attached by some method from the side of motor mount . Can you show how he did this? @@Outcastboats
@@wilflambo8102 Hi, I had a local automotive shop tap and thread a 3-inch eye bolt. I then used a small snap line to help guide the rope and anchor out of the way behind the motor. It works quite well for an initial prototype. Cheers, Phil
