happy new years everybody
Happy new year!🎊
Joke's on you I have crippling depression
Thanks !
Happy New years
Happy new years
Kratos: “I do not need a snack.”
Atreus: “REALLY?!?!”
Kratos always seems like he needs a snack.
he needs an olive
@@CursedSFMS huh a greek joke
@@TheGoldenMan888 If you played the game, Kratos mentions olives are his favorite fruit, Mimir then says "The hell is an olive?!?"
@@CursedSFMS the hell is an olive?
indeimau5: "My time is more valuable than this, I don't need the bird."
Also indeimau5: Spends 10 minutes hitting a chime to annoy a virtual squirrel.
Priorities.
i mean thats clearly more valuable
Probably spent about the same amount of time on both.
The cut from Odin telling Kratos “can you even imagine that kind of love?!” to a dream sequence with Faye made my heart smile.
The stupid part is that Sparta loved him.
@@alastor8091 I dont think those are the type of folks kratos wants to be loved by
@@DylanJo123 so I take it you didn't play the past games. Kratos loved Sparta. It was his home and they were his people. When he learned he'd killed the last Spartan warrior and that Zeus had destroyed Sparta, he lost it to the point he couldn't even see straight, literally. The only times he got that angry was when he killed his wife and kid in blind rage and when he beat Zeus to death. Sparta meant as much to him as Arreus does.
@@DylanJo123 you do remember kratos was a spartan?
Do you think love can bloom even on the battlefield?
Lifting up mimirs head to the writing on the wall and saying “it’s no good brother Elden ring beats us in game of the year” was gold 😂😂
This Thor quickly became one of my favorites versions of the character.
Right? I dont understand why people hated it because he was fat. I mean it fits to the story, him drinking, seeming not the Thor he once was but he is still extremly strong.
I'm so unbelievably glad the "Really?" sound clip from Atreus is back. The four year wait was so worth it.
It's amazing how a single sound effect being added and a lack of context can turn something as simple as Sindri asking to upgrade atreus' bow into something far, far funnier, keep up the amazing work Indeimaus! Absolutely love your content!
Freya did learn that realm travel was available again thus changing her partial trajectory when Atreues meets with her.
Every puzzle in this game is a timed puzzle. You don't fail if you run out of time, your chatty companions just solve it for you.
I love how the series has turned something that's DEFINITELY a plot convenience from a different age of gaming (Kratos, a man of the most strictly militaristic faction in pop culture, Spartans) into a narrative strength (for one, incorporating the spear training of the average Spartan soldier into his arsenal, and also helping him express that he's more than just a random Spartan blessed by his god, he's a tactician, a leader, and also just a man)
It's nice to see the new embrace the old in such a caring way
It's funny to me that you describe Spartans as a 'militaristic faction in pop culture' like they never existed
@@MHCJV yeah lol
@@MHCJV they existed but God of War treats who they were with kids gloves. Which is fine, but a little bit ironic, considering how gruesome the game gets in the gore.
@@Hamun002 The very start of Ghost of Sparta shows Kratos beating the crap out of his brother because that's how spartans grew up.
Second game starts with Sparta invatding Athens.
Kinda gives you an idea of how militaristic they were.
She dressed up like a valkerie because she wanted you to fight
"Sally put most embarrassing track on."
Plays Blinding Lights by Indeimaus
PERFECT
Said this 3 years ago and I'll say it again.
Huge respect for making these full gameplays into entertaining videos.
Even if you change your type of content I'll still be watching the same Indeimaus.
Hope you reach many milestones in 2023.
It's pretty funny you found Blatonn (the werewolf alpha) difficult. I think most people have done so many side quests by the time they get to him that they're OP and can delete him in moments.
Pretty much sums up how my fight with him went
"Be careful, that's the alpha"
*dead in 2 swings*
Right? I didn't even register him as like a big bad guy
Depends on difficulty I guess, I'm generally a completionst so I did a lot of the side quests and explored most of the map available at the time, yet still died to him a couple of times
It's also just a slightly more dangerous wulver, an enemy we've fought hundreds of times. Even if you aren't overpowered, it should be familiar
Maybe you were aswell, but i'm pretty sure indei is on the hardest difficulty. Though yeah, the sidequests would help a ton lol.
Man, these videos have so much effort and style put into them! It is incredible and immediately apparent! Thank you, Indeimaus, for a great year of comedy and laughter!
I like when he adds in multiple voices, they’re hilarious that bug scene where he was swearing at kratos for taking the hack silver then he killed him and his friend love those little details
I felt so guilty when Jörmungandr told me off X.X *Clicks like 5 times*
"You sure about that? I don't want to go to prison for manslaughter."
*Slides Heimdall's and Baldur's body out of view*
*spits on Thor's son*
The fact that you put in the puzzle scene with Max put this over the top! Love the content man, Happy New Year's!
EDIT: And Zero Punctuation!
Max pretty perfectly summarized this element of the game.
I always enjoy the voice bits you do for the small animals and bugs! 💜 (I hope they haven't gotten old for you.)
I enjoyed Ragnarok quite a bit, though I think the pacing was probably impacted by the philosophy and story they tried to tell inbetween the action. I liked learning everything, though I don't think most did.
I hope you have a good break through January, and Happy New Year from the other side of the world!
The critter bits always make me laugh. He does the perfect voice for them.
SAME!
Oof. The death of Brok and its impact on Sindri being completely belittled by present Maus was gutting. It was exemplified by Sindri spelling out, crystal clear, what it meant to him.
Other than that, what an amazing video and thanks for all the effort you put into this one.
Idk, the whole ending with Sindri was weird, I guess it kind of makes sense but arguably it doesn't either. Definitely not one of the better pieces of writing in this game imo.
Just before the commentary at 18:10 I was thinking the exact same thing.. that prophecy hit WAAAAAY different with the end game knowledge.
Did the prophecy hit different or was it Tyr's reaction to it?
Sindri: literally goes to hel to save his brother
Indeimause: I thought you didn’t even like each other that much
Pretty sure he went to the Lake of Souls, not Hel.
Pretty sure he went to the Lake of Souls, not Hel.
@@angramainyu9220 Pretty sure he went to the Lake of Souls, not Hel.
ah yes, indeimaus has blessed with an hour long of an ep.
thank you kind sir, happy new year.
One of my fav creators on the platform. Thanks for existing.
50:07 Best edit after the black cut, even rewatching many let's playthroughes. Hearing Sindir in the darkness say "Brahn?" Still brings me to tears... What little differences make a big difference.
That Zero Puncuation bit was fucking gold
The first loki section isn't for nothing if you don't have it then Freya might not have joined them
I like Odin acts like mobster in this
The only takeaway I have from this video is that FFVIII's soundtrack works with everything.
You have no idea how much I’ve been looking forward to this one. Happy new year everyone.
Self care: 49:35
I watched Jacksepticeye's entire series of this. Two or more hours per 15 videos with some time-saving editing. Indeed Indeimaus, a lofty task to make one video out of all of this. You split Elden Ring into to three videos, and this game is far more story-driven and intense. Ridiculous, thank you for the video.
Ha
You know it's going to be a good day when Indeimaus drops an hour long video. Happy new year, I hope your channel gets the attention it deserves in 2023.
Tbh this game and Final Fantasy 15 are the only ones that made me realize that I had to savor the light hearted parts of the game cause the sad bits were brutal.
God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring shouldn’t even be compared tbh. They’re both game of the year. I get hours of replay out of Elden Ring, and God Of War gave me so much story even post game that I’m still loving it looking back at parts knowing what I know now.
Also, this and Resident Evil 8 both hit parenting and family themes perfectly. My only trouble with God of War is that I may need to skip sadder bits in the future because some of them hit me a little too hard 😅
its just elden, GoW is a mess of coddling ruining what it goes for with a somehow rushed ending
FF15 has a plot?
@@ectothermic lol it does but I think I’m in the minority of people who watched Brotherhood/read the companion books for the plot/details.
51:58 Man, Heimdall got off LIGHT. The last time Kratos did something to someone's head, he *literally ripped off Helios'* and used it as a magical flashbang.
9:18 "The loot was so bad Kratos got angrier" HAHAHAHAHAHA
The bits that people call padding and dead ends I think miss the point. Right before we take control of atreas mimir says he bound to make mistakes. Atreas tried to recruit Freya and fails and almost dies by her. He made a mistake. And yeah, there are moments that could have been made more interesting like the iron wood bit, but I don't understand why people think that everything these characters do has to be perfect.
The bandicam segment was genuinely nostalgic. Also I feel like the valkyrie joke is gonna fly under most people's radar
Neck armor exists. They are called gorgets and they are usually ring mail or plate armor that covers the neck all the way into the helmet. It seems to not be popular in midgar
45:05 the goodest boi in the universe!!!!! whos a good inter dimensional god pupper!? you are yes!
do you wonder if atreus spoiling all the puzzles is like an unintentional nod at the "god of war" creator david jaffe's inability to shoot his way out of a dead end?
The Yakuza battle music makes me want to see Indei play the Yakuza games.
I feel like the jeweled bugs will somehow come into play in the next games
The issue with the backseating dialogue is how damn quickly they spout it off. Can't give you two seconds to survey the area for hidden paths or collectables before screaming about what you do next.
Sad thing is that it's for an M rated game. Y'know, something that's made for supposed adults to play. Made worse that the decision was apparently made due to streamers and the like being too fucking stupid when it comes to puzzles and path finding, then screaming that the "game is bad" because they can't add 2 and 2 to make 4.
Pandering to people with sub-human IQ by handholding puzzle solutions seems like it'll just worsen the problem.
David Jaffe exists, who made gow2....
So knowing this it's quite understandable that the *hints* were so common and quick.
Words cannot express my frustration with the backseating the AI do. I can't take a second to check for collectibles without "HEY DID YOU KNOW WE GO THIS WAY?" or just giving the solution to the puzzle immediately. It's obnoxious especially when it's the finicky ruinic arrow puzzles which at times just miss due to being a pixel off.
The mural in GOW 2918 showing Kratos’ death was accurate. The time line in the mural is different from what actually happened but, Kratos dies in the fight with Thor.
Also banger vid😊
With so much footage I’d honestly love to see a bloopers real of cut content from side quests/other smaller interactions that you enjoyed
Playing Immigrant Song over the Thor fight was probably my favorite moment in the video, and I loved all of it. Thank you for the awesome content.
Nice episode, now we need a next one called "God of Souls Ragnarok" to complete the prophecy..
..and happy new year, everyone
I appreciate the effort in editing all this
This game is honestly just amazing
I started playing this game, then decided I would come back to it later after finish healing. I had to put my own dog down only days before trying to play this… yeah, that scene hurt me…
I felt such a trigger with that scene bro
As someone who had been in the same place that Atreus was, repeating the same exact words
I needed to put my controller down for like 15 minutes before I could play more
This Was A Masterpiece, I Truly Loved This One.
Been super looking forward to this fantastic video! Thanks for all the hard work :)
If you look at the mermaids face when the blood forms the omega symbol she looks kinda angry or surprised and when it forms the spartan mark she looks happy.
So glad I could finish this game without any spoilers. Not having internet for 10 days can be a blessing
48:33 "Now for the hardest boss in the game: Blatonn"
𝑮𝒏𝒂 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
Inde isn't the brightest bulb in the box...
He missed much of the game.
But even if he did it, "the games too long, my pea brain can't keep up"
Over one hour of Indeimaus is exactly what I needed for my new years ^-^
Happy new year!
the pentakill at 18:50 hits just right
Holy, what a game to end on. Great job this was funny as all hell to watch. See y’all next year.
Been patiently waiting for this, super exited and already can tell from the intro it's gonna be great. Have a happy new year!
Was not ready for the Max clip. Thanks for the content
27:47 The new monster hunter rise Monster looks awesome.
Damn that's a banger at 1:10:50
I saw the edit lines in the beginning of this video and wow thank you for all your hard work on these
Incredible content like always Indie! Can't wait to see what next year brings
Thank you very much, Indeimaus & Sallie, for all your hard work to make this excellent video!
Great video, thanks for all the hard work throughout the year, and I hope you have a happy new years.
Indiemaus, what a mad Lad! Thank you sooo much for another year of quality content!
May not be the most comprehensible Ragnarök video but I’ll be damned if it isn’t leagues more entertaining than just watching someone’s Let’s Play
Woke up to another absolute banger by indeimaus. Happy new years from Arizona!
Atreus: “Really?!?!”
Happy new years maus thank you for the amazing video! I didn’t really enjoy the game too much myself but your video as always was gold, thank you for all your hard work they always cheer me up and I’m sure many other people as well. Hopefully you get a well deserved rest and stay safe over the holidays ❤
Great way to spend my new years eve! Thanks Indeimaus!
This was awesome! Amazing edit, as always! Thank you!
Amazing work, though the game is very stop and start overall it tells a beautiful story.
I loved the ZP joke about the fates, Odin’s battle music goes pretty hard too.
You have done amazing work and I look forward to this year’s content.
Happy New Years!
happy new year! thanks for all the work man, I love your channel, you're hilarious
Absolutely amazing video as always!
love the long vids man. thank you.. you deserve million more subs ❤
Watched a full, no commentary playthrough, and I thought the same thing about The Mask.
Then what actually happens happened.
You madman. thank you for the content and the work you put into it.
Excellent video! Loved every minute of it
You really bring it all in these videos, thank you Maus.
That intro was amazing! Had me hooked!
As usual: I see the Maus. I watch the vid. I like the vid. I leave a comment with a reminder that Prey(2017) still needs a video.
Happy new year!
Some of the highest quality videos on UA-cam. I constantly find myself rewatching a number of videos.
Thank you for doing what you do.
Masterpiece. Love the bits from Max and Yahtzee n' shit. Good work maus
Thanks for condensing this game so entertainingly.
Happy new years maus, heres to another year of the best condensed lets player content on youtube your vid editing presentation makes me smile EVERY single video this one was no different :) top nitch work as always
Happy New Year and what an amazing video! I started this year with a good laugh. Thank you! :D
absolutely fucking amazing indei, always bringing us these bangers! Have a great break, you deserve it, see you later this month, cant wait!
4:26, the final opponent wasn't a bear, that was a starter opponent in skellige, the TRUE final opponent was a rock troll.
Now this is a great first video to watch in the new year at 4 am.
good god what a way to throw off into a new year, over an hour long Indeimaus upload. Rest up man and enjoy the new year, you've been cranking out wholeass movies with the editing quality and length over and over
"You're fast! What are we wasting time out here? Take you to the Olympics!" [5:06]
_Uh, Maus. I'm pretty sure the Olympics got cancelled forever after GOW 3 happened..._
That music and "Wasted" text as Surtur fell off the edge, haaaaaaaa.
Awesome timing, just this morning I was thinking about how nice it would be to get some Indei content today :D tytyty
I want to watch this SOOO BADLY but I haven't played it yet. I'll be back to watch this King! Happy New years Maus!
I started watching your vids this year and constant bangers all throughout.
You deserve so much man, you're amazing. Happy New Year
