Also, really love the format of real world high-end engineering and description format followed up by the rewards of racing the very machinery you've put the engineering into. Thanks David, yes it's definitely stressful and we do 14hr days to make it all work out. The time in the pickup racing makes it seem worthwhile and I'm very lucky to be able to complete... Sam's turn soon though

Thanks fo r the video. That is how it goes " as always stress before the racing" but once in the race car... it all disappears and its only you -the car - and the track all else vanishes ( at least in my case )... Enjoy

Thanks Steve, you are very correct, if we were to explain all of the racing no one would ever do it, but those times in the car when it is on the edge of grip and using all of the track just me and the car is awesome the adrenaline can't be replicated.. just wish I could race more.

I’ve never heard of a torque plate before, presumably this is something that all race engine builders use?
Do you ever take a break from work? A couple of weeks in the sun would recharge the batteries. Being that busy all the time you don’t want to burn yourself out.

Thanks Richard, seeing the torque plate fitted and taking measurements is an eye opener to be honest, no not everyone uses them and we only have them for the common engines we do. I could do with a holiday to be honest but I then panic about work and the workshop. I'm starting to feel the 12-14hr days now
