Because it's only a TV show, if any side were to win because they had Superior numbers and equipment then the conflict will be over and there will be no series, understand 😱
The greatest crime was that this show only ran for one (1) year: it was reruned so many times that it seemed it was on television longer than it actually was. ALSO, this is where I began to notice the work of Derek Meddings, who went-on to do those special effects for the James Bond movies (Look at the James Bond movie "GOLDENEYE"; Meddings last movie). I became a huge fan of his work, AND other British special effects people. QUESTION: Is UFO coming back? I was hoping that it would get an update and re-imagining like Battlestar Gallactica.
A new series of UFO based on Gerry Anderson's original is NOT now being developed to my knowledge. Nor is anything planned. There was some preliminary pre-production work done for a proposed theatrical release about 10 years ago but that was abandoned. I do wish the answer to your question was yes but I would be terrified of the result considering the state of sci fi lately. Thank you for your interest in Gerry Anderson's UFO.
@Maria Kelly - I really have no interest in seeing a movie version made at all. It is a weekly series always in my mind. A theatrical version of anything currently is under so many different political and financial pressures that the results are usually a compromise that pleases no one and ruins the original. Star Wars, Star Trek or anything you can name currently. Absolute junk.

Steven Berkoff should have had a bigger role. He never misses in the episodes I’ve seen.
Interceptor ace Berkhoff
Love the Oumuamua Easter egg!
Well spotted
A flub @ approximately 42:53 someone walks across the lot. Love this series.
Well spotted sir. If he were standing still it would have been OK but he was walking and in motion for about 10 or 12 frames.
@Siobhan M - Kudos to oldrok here - I never noticed the guy in the background - and I was scrubbing this stuff through a video editor for about a month - I hope you're feeling better - Fanderson is very sorry he slept through your visit
Man I tried not to miss a movie I read about in starlog mag back in the day. I got starlog 3 in january and told all my friends about starwars and they thought I was crazy. Hell I went to see Starwars the first day first showing as as soon as it started I looked around and counted 8 people in the whole theatre and told my brother well theres 8 startrek fans here. 2 weeks later mon an dad asked me if I wanted to go see it again and the place was fukin packed
I was young when I saw this episode but I still remember it
It's one of the best of this series
Thanks 👍
thousand of australia far and short bad eye sight why not allow these glass available lot of talk no action
Nina Berry so beautiful as Moonbase commander. ❤❤❤
Muchas felicidades, excelentes recuerdos de aquella época con esta serie!!
I ❤ the getting ready for ACTION MUSIC. AND THERE IS VICTOR MAITLEN from BEVERLY HILLS COP PILOTING ONE OF THE INTERCEPTORS.
🛸✨
Next time the aliens should release Covid 19 and most of the earthlings will be stuck indoors watching YT & Netflix :/
Esta fue una de mis series favoritas, cuando se las mostré a mis hijos se rieron de mi, pero no me importó, ademas como decirles que estaba enamorado de la Teniente Ellis, mi primer Amor 💕
Better than a lot of stuff today.
I loved this show as a kid in the US. I was devastated when it no longer aired on TV, but I never forgot it. THANK YOU!!!!
I’ve always wondered why there are only 3 intercepters on moonbase
because the production budget was not big enough for 4
Money problems. 🤑
Because the aliens only ever sent three UFOs!
If the aliens ever send four ufo's....Shado is screwed
The best series ' 70
So, this show is just thunderbird without the terrifying marionettes?
This is not to say it's not impressive...
indeed some of the puppets were a bit creepy - 🛸✨
I'd forgotten just how corny and campy this show was. Thanks for posting.
back when this show first came on, I had such a crush on her.
Looks like you added some effects shots yourself? Nicely done, if so.
There are some new sequences. I hope to do better next time but thank you.
@Siobhan M - as stable as trump? - ty much
SHADO has the Space Intruder Detector which gives an early warning to alien attacks. The aliens never thought of taking out SID and getting an INTENSE advantage.
they did attack SID in the episode "The Man Who Came Back"
@@FandersonUfo ah, thanks. I saw the entire series but didn't recall that. Now, if you could just tell me why there aren't any female aliens...?
@@heedmywarning2792 - the series deserved a 5 year run - so many possible story lines - 🛸👽
@@FandersonUfo My favorite episode was the one where time stood still at SHADO base and the radar operator sold out.
@@heedmywarning2792 - "Timelash" - lots of that episode was used for this video of course - if you prefer the broadcast versions to my poor mashups they are easy to find on UA-cam if you don't live in the UK
Great composition early on loved the opening sequence still watching the rest but brilliant thanks for this
I want to see this as a modern movie.
have you seen any modern movies lately sire?
remember that dancing style in pulp fiction? This music goes with that.
love the fishnet submarine uniforms
