@@flemwad Happy days that are now long gone forever. Fifty+ years now was a long time ago.
This video has been my first exposure to this show, and now I REALLY want to watch all of it!
It was great fun - probably available somewhere, or on DVD, of course!
@@fiddleandfart So cool!! 👨🚀❤
It's great to rewatch all these old series in bluray HD. Brings new life and only seems like they were made yesterday. Watched a HD copy of The Professionals, now in the process of getting those on HD bluray.
I remember watching this show when it came out in the US. Loved it then, and now I remember why.
Gabrielle Drake. Magnificent!
I remember watching this as a Kid when we lived in the Netherlands in the early 70s...I even had one of the toy interceptors...made by Corgi Toys...thanks for the memories...
🛸what production values ! what an episode!45 yrs ago i ❤️
loved it and i can see why.the quality kicks many of todays arses🛸
Those Moon Chicks are groovy Foxes!! 😍
Superior series - still the best in that genre.
Those Interceptor ships are male: Only one shot, and after shooting their load they become useless for a while, lol
Now that's funny, very good...
boom boom!! lol
🤣🤣😆😆😄😄
@ It's a sex joke. Calm down.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
WOW ! I never thought I'd get to see this show again, and this popped up in my feed. I loved this show as a kid ! Scary as all get out, but the machines are what turned me on. I was into the Blue Book stuff, read Chariots of the Gods, etc. But this show made the reading and tabloid stories kinda real .
Yes, I grew up with this and other classic TV series - I always remembered the very different opening and closing music - very 60s action-packed punchy and energetic to open and menacing and genuinely chilling to close - very clever
Growing up in Manila, I lived to watch each episode weekly. Can't describe to emotions I feel seeing this again here after how many years? Wow, just wow!
God I grew up with these shows...this and Lost in Space, Space 1999 etc...good memories...
I watched this show as a kid and loved it. The special were excellent, had a great hip musical theme, and red hot girls in scanty outfits. Wonderful.
Nice edit. One of my favorite TV shows from my childhood.
I loved this series as a kid and always will... thanks from NZ 👍🇳🇿👍
This music is great. Groovy baby! Going to have to sample this music and dialogue and do something with it.
These shows made my childhood, got me interested in science, engineering and UFOs of course!
🖖🖖🖖👽
The pacing of the UFO stories was always a bit slow for me, however it looked (and still looks) absolutely effing amazing. The sets, the costumes & especially the vehicles & hardware. Mid-century modern, retro & very cool. Love it. Great theme tune to.
Nostalgia ain't what it used to be. It's dejavu all over again!
I grew up on Gerry Anderson's Shows!!!
This has reminded me of a toy Interceptor I had in the 70's, Thanks :-)
I loved this show, and it still looks great, especially on Blu-ray.
I LOVED this show as a kid! It was like a live action Thunderbirds! A lot of pretty amazing concepts for the time, and I like the idea of the pilots hoping in the chutes to get to their ships. I wish we could get reruns of shows like this instead of Sharknado crap.
Welcome to moon base communications, here's your purple wig!
Still some of the best sound FX ever on those UFOs. Love the sound they make when they are landed. Flying also is very cool & freaky.
Also, not sure who the drummer is who is on this soundtrack, but DAMN! Just...damn! Total master.
Don't know why when I go to the supermarket look up and here the sound of the U.F.O. lol not always lol
Hal Blaine perhaps? as he was the most recorded session drummer in history having done countless soundtracks and TV themes :)
Absolutely brilliant!!
Makes me want to dig out my box sets and have a ufo fest!!!
This TV show is INMORTAL, I love it since it was aired originally,
In 1980, I was still using equipment made in 1944 in the Army. All of the budget went to these blokes!
I have this on DVD. great show
UFO, The Champions, Secret Agent Man, Space 1999. I didn't mention Star Trek, because that was in a class all by itself. Good memories!!!
You forgot my own personal favorite, The Prisoner.
Sad that all the sci fi now boils down to teen angst shows with sci fi as simply a genre
U.F.O and space 1999 kicked Star Treks arse into another stratosphere altogether
I watched this show faithfully. I was so disappointed when it was cancelled.
omg this is gold! that spaceship scene was hilarious! retrofuturistic!
Wow! I saw one movie in the movie theatre, then the tv-show and after that I bought the View-Master discs and the toys. What a great show! After that I continued watching "Space 99", name in German: "Mondbasis Alpha 2". Best series ever! P.d. I was born 1965.
