This would be like... an epic rival fight in a Megaman or Megaman X fangame or something. Imagine some edgy fan character villain who's kind of Zero-esque in design (uses a beam sabre) trying to rape you with combos and this is like their theme song or something. That's kinda what pops in my head
@ZGURemixer That could work too, a custom WAD where it has the original normal-looking Doom levels at first, but as you navigate on, it starts looking different. Much like how this music goes.
@@MondySpartan There is a wad with a similar premise. I haven't played it, though. According to its description, it's basically 4 new episodes based on the 4 original episodes of The Ultimate Doom but built from scratch. www.wad-archive.com/wad/Wonderfull-Doom
If you were playing around the game’s launch, depending on your hardware, yeah! The OST would sound different depending on your hardware, so in a way it was sort of personalised.
From 0:17 to 0:24, it almost sounds as if the AI has already heard this song before, because that sounds pretty close to the actual second half of the real song. Or the chorus of No Remorse.
You know what's impressive? It noticed the Doom music had a bit of instrument lag to it here and there, and put that detail into what it was doing. That's really cool. It tried to be like a genuine midi.
Coming back here, this seems to be a perfect companion for the mod “Doom, The Way We Remember It” given how cursed the mod is, additionally it seems to be similar with my previous idea on which mod could make use of this!
I think it would be extra fun if mod creator (or some Doom-aware composer with free time) tried their hand at manually recreating DOOM music by memory, track order included. It fits into the mod’s theme, and I can only imagine how wild the end result would be.
I can already imagine the cheesy '89 lyrics swirling around in my head. The words would totally come in at 0:25 and probably start with "Run for your life, try to hide, don't make a sound, stay inside" and be in beat with the guitar solo because 80's metal. I like having dorky little moments like this.
Whoa, this is actually amazing!? This is like proper boss music! These AI’s have come really far, I remember a while ago the continued songs sounded nothing like the original and just became distorted loops that slightly resembled the start, but this sounds so good throughout except a few wobbly bits that I could totally see this being a real song! And the instruments are perfect, and it really sounds like Doom for a lot of it.
I unironically LOVE this entire thing. Giving existing songs to AI to see what they do with it. And I'm with funneym9965. This has a vaguely Shonen-like vibe to it.
I'm glad you put the midi files up in the links. I used this one (not in a video, of course, since I didn't ask) to make a version of it in the vein of the 3DO DOOM Soundtrack. It's actually pretty rad. This is totally like a Maiden track.
We can at least say it knew what the drums were trying to go for. and for a few seconds, it sounded like it was gonna get pretty close. Then it decided "Now we're gonna do some British heavy metal to fill this in."
This is actually pretty good. It just needs a bit of fixing up in some places and it'll be a fine remix. I'm imagining a final boss map that's a recreation of E1M1, but at 0:16 the walls around the central nukage pool outside starts to fall away, with the boss rising out of it. Maybe add some GZDoom trickery with changing the skybox and textures around into something hellish as it happens.
If forget about the original, then this soundtrack fits the theme of the main menu of the old fighting game, which few people remember about it, but many know this music. The AI did its job even very well
DreamForce 2123 Where the coloured blocks are on the website, there should text that says advanced options you can click. Make sure the MIDI is only a few seconds long. Sometimes Musenet might fail to generate certain sections, so just keep trying it until it works.
@@MegaZombieman115 nvm sorry, I'd had found out how to do it. MuseNet had a horrible way of predicting MAP03's theme. Before you ask, I didnt save it, it was that painful. Also MAP01 was very short, only 2 short segments were made by the AI, it refused to make any more.ill try MAP01 again.
@Hank the haybot You can download the midi after rendering the track. He probably ran the results through a program after the fact to give it the right instruments. MY problem is I give it a 15 second midi to work with and it only gives me a jumbled mess at the end that lasts 5 seconds more than what I put in.
