Real-Life Fox and Hound Are the Best of Friends

Phoenix the fox and Copper the dog love to play together just like a real-life Disney movie. Phoenix quickly won over the hearts of Carrie Miller and her family. But she worried that 2-year-old Phoenix was lonely during the day while his human family was at work, so they got him Copper as a companion. While Phoenix was wary of the Labrador puppy at first, they have since become fast friends and enjoy chasing each other around their home in Teutopolis, Illinois #InsideEdition

One summer, when the river was flooded, I had a fox family living in my back yard. One day I look out the front window and see my sister's lab chasing a fox, and I banged on the window to get her attention, and giving the fox a chance to get away. They both stopped, and then the fox called to the lab, and the chase started again. They played all summer together. I never had any problems with them. When the water went down, I never saw them again.
