This piece, as the title suggests, was composed with the clouds and the sky in mind. At first, it started out as an improvisation that I would play around with to escape a very busy schedule, but as time moved on and the widespread panic of COVID-19 grew, the piece’s meaning was moulded into something else. Now, I like to think that this piece is about a search for a silver lining amongst hardship; that is to find comfort and a clearing in a sky full of clouds.
