I’ve heard of the LV’s that you’re using and do you think it is worth the purchase? are they very versatile across pieces or are they too hard for most? also I’m loving the burton grip but a little curious what drive you to playing this in burton grip? I love this piece and plan on playing it next year for my junior solo. If you don’t recommend the LV’s graduated set, what mallets would you recommend? Again this is an epic piece.

I’m barely 13 but I have been mastering it, although only learning it for 1 year, and by the 3 month mark, already able to play grade 8 and getting 146 in exams. I’ve decided that I will learn this song. It’s so beautiful

I can't describe in words how this piece makes me feel. I have never listened to something so beautiful, yet complex. It makes me love the marimba more than I already do, which I didn't believe was possible. I can't wait to finish learning this piece for my Junior year of High School!
