Well done again SDRPlay looks like you have produced another great SDR & with the update to SDRUno it looks a great package this could be a game changer if it is selling for less than £240 as ML&S are advertising.
I am trying to figure how to use both tuners at the same time.....been trying to figure this out for a couple years. I use SDR Console V3 and do not wish to use SDRUno. Console offers a selection of the radios but when I select it, the in use tuner is stopped. Tried using 2 versions of Console but it classifies SDRDuo as one 'radio'. Help appreciated.
Have had my RSP2Pro for 2 months and just love it. Made a 6M copper coil antenna and can listen to 80m, in my bedroom ! As well as all Aircraft, and UHF, up to 500mhz. Shame i cant trade in my RSP2pro for the duo, as i dont mind paying a little more for it.. please see my videos for the Magnetic Loop Antenna, its a must have if you are in a noisy area.
I would think you can manipulate the received phase in software; if this module were capable of tx, one could still vary the phase of the applied I/Q signal and achieve beam forming as well.
I want to use this SDRPLAY DUO so I can have a panadapter on my Kenwood TS 590SG radio and on Yaesu FTDX 3000 radio, and I want to get your guidance can I use this SDRplayDUO? 73
Another cracking SDR! Well done. I can’t wait to get one to experiment with. Friendly advice: You should probably refer to the tuners as primary and secondary or some such rather than “master” and “slave” as the use of those terms is considered to be in poor taste and may offend some people.
$279.95? SDRPlay products were well-known as a good but low cost solution, and now its 2 times more expensive. Its even more expensive that a nearest competitor HF+, that has according to reviews, better RX quality. And again USB 2.0? Its 2018 outside, guys. 2 receivers... interesting, but for this price I will prefer a low-power transceiver (like in HackRF) as a second module - at least it can be used for TX experiments or as antenna analyzer this way, and will give much more features. For the guys, who want to use direction finding or any other scientific applications, LimeSDR looks better anyway. Audience who really needs 2 parallel receivers, is not so big imho - this 'killer feature' looks not so solid. Honestly, I'm disappointed.
You do realize the full differences from the units you cite? The ref osc, the band pass, the band notch, and other filters selectable and built-in to this unit? The phase coherency between the two channels? Methinks you may be thinking in much simpler terms than what the RSPDduo offers.

any plans to update the duo (like you did the 1b)?
We would like to at some point, but no immediate plans.
Hi can you use it to log/record transmissions for tracking down and gathering evidence of interference?
gasturbine101 yes, SDRuno has a logging capability.
Can the receivers be on the same frequency with control of their LOs phase difference. What level of phase control is available?
This looks good.

PU2XBT Yes, using Twitter instances of SDRuno and Omnirig. Just be careful to ensure protection when either radio is keyed!
very good
