I am sure there were many people who watched the Andy Griffith TV show and wished they could spend some peaceful time in the quaint TV town of Mayberry. Who knew they could! Of course Mayberry represents all the timeless North Carolina towns that where you can still find mom and pop stores, friendly neighbors, and simple old-fashioned values.

Love Mt. Airy! We have it on our list of places to return to do some UA-cam videos. Last time we were in Mt. Airy it was a huge line outside of Snappy Lunch. We took a squad car tour on our last visit. The brick art was so cool! We did not know that Donna Fargo grew up in Mt. Airy. The mural was amazing. I did not know the mural was there. So looking forward to seeing it in person. You did a great job videoing it. We have seen the mural of the Easter Brothers before. They were also from Mt. Airy and played Bluegrass/Gospel. What day of the week did you go there? You were lucky not to have crowds. It did look like a great day! Thanks so much for sharing. Can't wait to get back there!
